Absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Seafood was so fresh and service was phenomenal.

Our server and food were great. But we were sat upstairs which has zero ambience. Terrible Valentine’s Day ambience, which is a shame because the everything else was great. We were disappointed with the ambience.

I was disappointed with the service and the overall experience. Despite my reservation I was placed at a table next to the door. The weather was cold and each time the door opened was hit with cold. That was doable but they allowed an ignorant guest to smoke a cigar and other cigarettes. The odor came in each time the door opened. Despite my complaint they laughed. The waiter was attentive but uninterested and ultimately slow. The food was tasty but the vegetable overwhelmed with a taste or olive. Neither I nor my date enjoyed that.

Had a wonderful Galentine meal before a concert at the garden. The mushroom pasta and pappardelle were delicious.

We love the cosy atmosphere at Mare. The oysters are always amazing and the pasta dishes are excellent. Still, we ordered what was listed as a chocolate soufflé and what came out was a chocolate lava cake—that dessert is not even on the menu. Please, please do not list something like this as a soufflé. Sadly, it was was even close.

Wonderful evening. We had buffalo mozzarella salad to start, then the bone-in swordfish steak and seafood risotto. It was outstanding! Finished of with tiramisu.

The entire dining experience was fantastic. The service was notable and the food was superb. We always look forward to experiencing Mare. We would highly recommend this establishment.

OK, we had a lot here. Sat at the bar, which was nice even though we had a reservation for a table. The bar was just as nice and more our vibe. I’ve gone here once before, and the service was horrible to do a particular individual. That was a long time ago and decided to give them another chance. They rose to the occasion. Food was good, drinks were good, ambience was good. Everything was right in line. This restaurant is especially good for seafood. The little clam appetizer was amazing. Honestly, I can’t remember half the food cause I just ate it. It was that good. This is the restaurant group, Depasquale Ventures, that does many restaurants in the North End. They have become a staple. Recommend any of their restaurants. While this is not my favorite of their restaurants, it is high on my list now.
