The ambiance and service were stellar. The food was good but not great. EVERYONE else in my party loved their food. The Deviled Eggs, Peach Ribs, Mac & Cheese topped with Brisket was very tasty. The cornbread and greens were ok. Seafood Piccadilly was excellent. The atmosphere was definitely high energy. we couldn't hear each other without yelling.

Disappointing to say the least. If it wasn’t for the person I was with, this would have been easily one of the worst dinning experiences of my life and that’s saying something considering I am quite the restaurant connoisseur and know my way around a wine list. The service. It was bad. It was slow, and it felt like we were invisible. From the time we sat down, it took about 30 mins to get served water, about 45 mins to get our drinks from the bar (the wine was in served in wine carafe so like nothing fancy), and about an hour in we were finally about to order our food. Hallelujah. Our table order the bass, the smash burger, and some Mac & cheese. I ordered the striped bass (the fish) and when I saw it for the first time I said “did I order soup” because what I had was literally a bass soup. Considering it was $35 I expected a lot more than that. Then the burger wasn’t made with any love and for $22 it was very below average. Five guys slaps that burger out of the water. However, the Mac and cheese was pretty good but when we asked for small plates they were never delivered (again the service) so we had our forks fight in the cast iron skillet. Then throughout dinner we made several requests and none of them were delivered. Like we asked for salt and pepper (so easy) and that never came. Good company made up for the bad service and the brawl outside between pedestrians was quite amusing honestly. Gave us a good chuckle. We’ll remember this one for sure.

Great atmosphere. The food is really salty; I thought it was just me but my friend and daughter agreed it’s just too much salt

Having been to Marcus Samuelson’s flagship, Red Rooster in Harlem, I had high hopes for Marcus Bar and Grill. It did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in to moment we left, we had an amazing time. The food and drink offerings are thoughtful and creative. The wait staff was super helpful including offering suggestions on food and drink. The ambiance is spot on. And if you’re a food nerd like me the open kitchen is a plus. I’m looking forward to returning!

Always love Marcus B&G. The catfish with crawfish étouffée was delicious. The cornbread is always on point. The vibe is perfect. Just a great place period.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the food to be as good as it was. The cornbread and peach cobbler are must haves!! Our server Brandon was great, and I will be back to try more items.

Cute interior, food was amazing, staff was very nice and helpful, cocktails were strong and yummy. However, even with a reservation it took 45 minutes to be seated and the hostess was literally bussing tables herself to try and seat folks. All these people were waiting to be seated and there were 5+ tables empty but not cleared. Seems management needs to hire more bussing staff and servers to help their poor workers out. A hostess should not have to clear tables to be able to seat people that’s not her job.
