This was our second time at Marcus B G but the first dinner experience. From the beginning it took more than 15 minutes to receive 2 non alcoholic beverages. After another extended 30 + minute wait our entrees arrived. The collard greens were cold, my wife’s lamb chops were rare instead of the requested medium well temperature. My Mac n cheese came out roughly 10 minutes after the entrees arrived due to “it still being in the oven” but the Mac was cold and had unmelted shredded cheese at the top of the dish. I requested for the dish to be put back in the oven and they responded gracefully by bringing a fresh side of Mac to which I discovered also was not heated/cooked all the way through. Overall a poor dinner experience that was very surprising considering how great their brunch is.

The restaurant was loud. Our server was not attentive. We waited about 15 minutes after being seat to place our drink order. The server didn’t ask us if we needed anything after receiving our food. Then I has to ask for the dessert menu.

Fish ribs were tough, cold and not really edible. Got the ribeye with what was supposed to be yams but I received a tiny sweet potato instead. Mac and cheese was wack. I’ll give it a 3 on a scale of 1-10

Wow! I was blown away by this place! The ambiance and food were great! The Seafood Piccadilly is a must-buy! My wife and I really enjoyed our date night!

Food was great, did not disappoint. Spices and flavors abound. The only thing about the place is very limited parking and the neighborhood wasn’t the greatest. It does seem like they’re trying to build up the area so I’m sure in a short time they’ll be good. Otherwise, service is great, super friendly staff! It was a beautiful evening so they did have the doors opened and of course there were a couple of bugs that came to visit our table.

Food and service were excellent. Cornbread is a must! The peach ribs were fall off the bone and had a nice heat with the sweet. The catfish and lamb chops were exquisite. Brisket was tender and delicious.

Staff was extremely friendly, the food came out very fast, it was my husband and i anniversary we could actually hear each other talk. We both enjoyed our food we had the steak it was very tasty and tender.
