Out of a gorgeous open kitchen featuring a wood-fired grill and oven, Marcus B&G serves elevated comfort classics and ambitious signature dishes. EVERYTHING about this place was good. The only thing that I had a complaint about was the collard greens, and the truffle fries. I would not recommend…. Everything else … A1! The service was AMAZING . The ambience was absolutely perfect.

Our experience was very inconsistent. Service started out attentive, but slow, and it evolved to be very inattentive. Food also was inconsistent. We had good appetizers. Entrees had some good and some bad. Truffle fries were woefully undercooked. Jerk chicken had amazing flavor, but was dry and overcooked. Food did not all come out together, and we kept having to wave our hands to get a server's attention. Overall, would not return.

Tried the fish ribs and they were extremely fishy tasting to the point they tasted spoiled. We also ordered the jerk chicken that was so dry it was not edible. I would have complained about the food, but the waiter never came back to even ask how the food tasted. The place gives great ambience, but that alone would not have me go back again.
