EVERYTHING about this place was good. The only thing that I had a complaint about was the collard greens, and the truffle fries. I would not recommend…. Everything else … A1! The service was AMAZING . The ambience was absolutely perfect.

Our experience was very inconsistent. Service started out attentive, but slow, and it evolved to be very inattentive. Food also was inconsistent. We had good appetizers. Entrees had some good and some bad. Truffle fries were woefully undercooked. Jerk chicken had amazing flavor, but was dry and overcooked. Food did not all come out together, and we kept having to wave our hands to get a server's attention. Overall, would not return.

Tried the fish ribs and they were extremely fishy tasting to the point they tasted spoiled. We also ordered the jerk chicken that was so dry it was not edible. I would have complained about the food, but the waiter never came back to even ask how the food tasted. The place gives great ambience, but that alone would not have me go back again.

Let me preface my saying I love Marcus Bar and Grill. I’ve always visited in the evenings so this was my first time doing the breakfast buffet. It was alright as I’m not a fan of open buffet. I made the reservation but my cousin set the time so I didn’t bother looking at the menu to know it was a brunch buffet style. It wasn’t until I got there that I realized it was buffet. The food was pretty good but they should’ve let the chicken cook a little longer. Other than that everything else was pretty good.

I had a very pleasant experience for my birthday here. My gf and I were seated at the counter next to where they make the food and it was great to see how everything was made anddd talk with the cooks.
