Marcus Bar & Grille Atlanta is excited to present Chef Gary & Friends Vol. 1 on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 4 PM until we sell out. This special Creole Boil event is an additional offering alongside our regular menu. For $60, enjoy a delicious Creole Boil paired with a complimentary Navet cocktail. We also have a special price of $30 for children, so bring the whole family! DJ Exeqtive will be spinning tunes from 4 PM to 10 PM, and our happy hour will be available from 4 PM to 7 PM. Our full dinner menu will also be available throughout the event, in case some non-seafood lovers are in the house.

Good was bland no seasoning on it at all. The reviews I read was great but my experience was not good at all.

We were looking for a Sunday Brunch that offered something different and tasty. My search lead us to Marcus Bar and Grill on Edgewood. Truly, this was a great choice. Loved the "Retro" feeling, ambience and the staff was very friendly, also attentive. We had the Salmon bites, Brisket hash, scrambled eggs, Peach Greek yogurt parfait, Crispy breakfast potatoes etc.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Atlanta. It’s perfect for a casual night out, date night, or group celebration. The food is always incredible, the ambience and decor are incredible, the staff is fantastically coordinated and are always in a good mood and super personable. The cocktails are masterfully mixed and never disappoint. Can’t recommend the steaks enough, they are some of the best I’ve had anywhere in America. We’re here every few months and it is always 10/10 and we always bring our friends and family from out of town here for a tremendous dining experience. Absolutely love this place!

I’ve dined at Marcus Bar & Grille quite a few times for both dinner and the buffet, and it’s always been a solid experience. But this time around, I was really disappointed. The food wasn’t hot, the greens had this weird vinegar-like taste and were way overcooked, and the cornbread, which I’ve always loved, was just okay. Neither the chicken nor the fish were served hot either. Even the chicken had a garlic season taste to it. It was cold, not juicy, and fresh tasting. I’ve introduced several people to this restaurant, and since it was my birthday, I told my family that’s where I wanted to go. But to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. My family was with me, and I felt let down. Atlanta restaurants often struggle with consistency, but Marcus Bar & Grille was the one place I didn’t have to worry about—until now.

The food is good here. It is heavily seasoned but with good flavors. If you have high blood pressure, you may want to watch what and how much you eat. I have eaten the Sunday brunch here twice and enjoyed the food. But beware, there is an $8 charge for still water that they do not tell you up front. If you don’t want to be charged for water, be sure to ask specifically ask for tap water because they don’t offer it up front. Also, there is a mandatory 20% gratuity added to all bills regardless of party size. From my 2 visits, I’ve had the same customer service. Sub- par! They are always nice and friendly at first. But they don’t come back to your table and you have to flag them down repeatedly to ask for the same thing multiple times. I shouldn’t have to ask for drink refills or salt and pepper multiple times. Because of the automatic gratuity and ok-ish customer service, I won’t be back. You can get the same (or better) quality food at other restaurants for the same price. But if you’ve never been, it’s worth a try.
