Marcus Bar & Grille is a vibrant, funky neighborhood restaurant dreamt up by Chef Marcus Samuelsson. Out of a gorgeous open kitchen featuring a wood-fired grill and oven, Marcus B&G serves elevated comfort classics and ambitious signature dishes. Taking cues from the history of Atlanta and the Old Fourth Ward, the space is built to celebrate community, music, and great food & drink.

This was our 1st time trying the Marcus grill. And it was great the food was amazing, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was top tier. We will be coming back and bringing friends and family.

Supper and Spins was exceptional. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Music from DJ was loud but good.

The food was excellent. Especially the seasoning of the catfish and brisket hash. It was nice having a live DJ. Her playlist was stellar, but we had to practically shout amongst our guests. The music volume was unnecessarily loud. I’m not deterred from visiting the Red Rooster in a couple weeks.

I thought the buffet was quite expensive considering what was on the menu. The food was good but not amazing. Waffles were soggy. The fried chicken and fried catfish were good. Parking was $10. So it was an expensive brunch. Next time, I’ll just go for the dinner.

We had an excellent time on our first visit to Marcus. We are new to the city and this is near the top of our favorite places so far. The food and atmosphere were awesome but the people are what make it special! Thanks team Marcus! You’re definitely in our rotation now!

Absolutely worth the hype! In a word: yes. The food? Yes. The service? Yes. And the good vibes? Absolutely yes! The collard greens and cornbread are incredible; words can’t do them justice—only your taste buds can tell the true story. So go get some, but a word of advice: you won’t want to share. It's just that good! My sister even drove from Birmingham to try it.

This spot is amazing! The energy was amazing and all of the employees were so nice. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The fried chicken and cornbread waffle had my mouth watering. The peach lemonade was sweet yet tart (you can feel it in your cheeks when you drink it, iykyk)! Next time I am in ATL, I will visit again!
