I recently dined at Marcel in Atlanta, and I absolutely loved my meal! The flavors were incredible, and every dish was prepared to perfection. From the appetizers to the main course, everything tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. The service was top-notch as well, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to go back!

Kevin is simply the best waiter. Hands down the best service and steaks in Atlanta as well.

Pros: We enjoyed our time there, the food, the drinks, and the service were very good! Cons: Limited green vegetable options (salad and asparagus only). Steak sauce options were more on the gravy side than traditional steak sauce accompaniments.

I want to preface this review by saying I’ve dined at many steakhouses in the Atlanta area and I was so excited to finally dine at Marcel for the first time. However my excitement turned into pure disdain. My sister and I arrived at the establishment for our 6:15pm dinner reservation . We were greeted by the seemingly unhappy hostess and placed in the very very back of the restaurant although there were plenty of open 2 seat tables up front. I was going to ask for us to be moved but decided to just ignore it. As the evening went along my sister and I both ordered the simple fish du jour (halibut)which was so over cooked and tasteless might I add. During our dinning our servers barely came to our table to check on us or ask us if we wanted to order anything additional. Unfortunately by the time we finished our food we were so ready to leave, we didn’t even want dessert. Lastly I will say the part that was so utterly disgusting to me is that, I noticed the hostess sat majority of the black patrons in the very back of the restaurant while most of the white patrons in the front…segregated if will. Overall the experience at Marcel was very disappointing my high expectations were sadly unmet. I will not be dining at this restaurant again. Do better!

As you enter you get the feeling of a nice restaurant that is going to be an experience. The waiter was knowledgeable about the history and story of the ownership. The assitant to the waiter was less than tactful in her role and took away from the hardwork the garcon had established in serving us. The drinks were good, the Grand Marquis is their old-fashioned. The appetizers (shrimp scampi) were good and were in the middle of most steakhouses. The sides are awesome as well as the scallops we added. The only concern is that the steak (bone-in NY strip) was not a good cut, well seasoned or hot. The manager, did remove it from the bill, which showed excellent service. I think I would come to the bar and chill rather than eat a meal. The seafood was awesome, maybe they could focus on becoming a seafood house.

Overall an excellent experience. Excellent and attentive service. New York Strip 8oz was at temp requested and had solid flavor. Fries were over salted. Baked Alaska was awesome. Looking forward to returning.

Sonny & Vino were great & provided excellent recommendations/descriptions. We haven’t been able to stop raving about our meal! Great experience, will be recommending to others & coming back.
