From the moment you step into the restaurant, the experience is exceptional, beginning with the warm welcome from the hosts. Marcel served one of the finest steaks I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The wine selection was equally impressive, offering a delightful pairing for every dish. Our servers, Nick and Eric, were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that we felt well cared for throughout our meal. Additionally, the gentleman who delivered our food was wonderfully cheerful and engaging; his infectious energy brought smiles to our faces each time he visited our table. I celebrated my birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel truly special. Overall, it was a memorable evening that exceeded all expectations.

I pride myself on steakhouses and have been to all the big chains. but there are times an establishment puts it all together. Marcel has an intimate and dimly lit ambiance that is warm and welcoming. The attentive waitstaff is professional and very pleasant. It is a French bistro and the appetizers and sides have some French faves of escargot as well as an array of fresh seafood options, but overall it is an upscale and fine steakhouse at heart. The bread course was one of the best I’ve ever had with whipped ricotta and olive oil and olives and thinly sliced ham on the side. I ordered the bone in monsieur filet, which was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char, thick, juicy and salted perfectly. The sides are expertly crafted and truly made and presented with care and attention. The onion soup has amazing depth of flavor and the pommes aligot was heavenly and plated like white pillowy ribbons onto the plate. The taste was amazing! The chocolate cake was velvety and light with a wonderful coffee and tea service. Pairing my birthday meal with an exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon that all made for a very memorable birthday dinner. Overall, from start to finish, Marcel is a very high end French bistro steakhouse that provides an exceptional dining experience and is a true chef’s kiss.

Great service. The seating feels overcrowded a bit, but the ambiance is nice. Food is great quality.

Marcel continues to be the best restaurant in Atlanta hands-down! From the fantastic service to the incredible food, they do everything very very well. Tucker and his team did an outstanding job with our meal. Thank you for being consistently so good.

Dined here for our anniversary dinner yesterday and while our food was delicious although our steaks weren’t hot our service from Benita could have been much more pleasant. We saw her smiling and laughing with every table around us however when my husband asked her to take a photo of us she was very unpleasant. She in fact didn’t even respond to him asking and just held out her hand to take the phone. She quickly snapped 2 photos before we could barely adjust ourselves and then walked away. After that she never came back to even check on us. Luckily Pavan was very polite and consistently refilled our drinks and pre-bussed our table. I am not sure what was wrong with asking for a photo but she clearly was not interested in us after that which is such a shame, not to mention as I said she never even came back to check on us after our food was delivered. A tall gentleman who was very polite took our dessert order and he also got us our check. For the price point I would certainly make sure the service is on par as well. Luckily the hostess and everyone else were very polite so it didn’t ruin our experience.

Wonderful experience. Cote du Boeuf was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Get the baked Alaska to finish the night with some fire!

It was fantastic. The onion soup was amazing, the steaks were incredible, and the Bernaise sauce was wow! We enjoyed so much last night!
