    The service was outstanding! Waiters were extremely attentive and knew the menu well. Drinks were mediocre and we spent over 1k after tip! Experience well worth it…just be prepared to pay no less than $200 per person to enjoy it.

    A beautiful space to dine in. Perfectly lit. Service was efficient and cordial. A varied and interesting menu selection. The food was top notch. A great selection of wines by the glass. Overall, a good value considering the level of quality, service and ambiance. It will be a bit expensive; but if you're looking for an elevated dining experience, this is a great option.

    I went as a birthday gift for a dear friend. We started with the shrimp scampi. This dish was a hands down winner. I added a little fresh squeezed lemon juice but that was not needed. It is important that I add my guest wanted to pray just after the appetizer arrived so we held hands and lowered our heads. As he prayed, a staff member placed two small plates between our arms. We both felt he should have waited. Evidently he did as well because he came back and gave an unsolicited apology. My guest had no complaints about his food. He had a Filet Madame, creamed corn au gratin and Pommes Aligot. His steak was delivered perfectly prepared and the sides were perfect additions. I had the Risotto Lobster herb butter. I am a huge risotto fan and am aware that something so simple can be easily under or over cooked. In this case, it was under cooked. The portion of the lobster for the size of the plate and the cost is insufficient. The lobster portion was barely a tablespoon full. I think it may have been the meat of 2 to 3 claws. I did expect more lobster. I left my plate full of risotto because the lobster to risotto distribution was vastly disproportionate. We ended the night with an apple pudding cake. Our server described it as having a scoop of vanilla ice cream but when it arrived, there was no ice cream. We didn't complain and proceeding to eat. After about two bites our server noticed the absence of the ice cream & she boxed what we had and gave us a freshly prepared plate with a birthday candle. The last thing Id like to note is that the tables are extremely close which wouldn't be an issue but the male waiter serving the neighboring table continued to squeeze between the tables to serve his guest which often put his jacket and his rear end on our table and the dishes that sat there. We laughing showed our waitress how his tush was on our plates. She laughed, but we all knew it was a logistics issue that couldn't be resolved then.

    Truly an amazing experience. The beef was incredible, ambiance was fantastic, service was outstanding.

    About 2.5 years ago I stopped going to Marcel after being a regular since it opened. It seemed as if the food, the service(especially the service) all dropped off dramatically. Last night my wife an I we're surprisingly free and no plans. We lucked up and Marcel had a somewhat later reservation. Marcel has come back around for sure. The food, ambiance, noise level were all excellent. The Marcel salad was back to it's excellent form. The lobster risotto was delicious! Oysters, clean and fresh. But best of all, the service was flawless. Matter of fact, I have been in Michelin starred restaurants that won't match that level of service. Whomever is running that place now, good job. I especially appreciate that it seems like the standing room only drunk bar crowd in ballcaps and jerseys has gone away. I don't know if that is something Marcels has chosen to do on purpose, but it was so nice last night.

    It was an amazing experience for my wife and I. We enjoyed every bite and every moment. The staff was attentive and aware of everything. They acted before we even asked. Definitely will be going back.
