Marc Bar and Restaurant, the southern-inspired bar and chophouse, is situated within the resort’s 16th century-styled château and winery.

Marc features a curated list of wine, champagne, beer and an exclusive assortment of inventive cocktails. Featuring fresh sips such as the Bulldog Smash, Marc-hattan, Mexican Martini and more.

Disappointed with the quality of the food. The menu was akin to an old catering hall and the execution could use improvement.

Food and service were excellent. The entertainment (sax player) was too loud. The tables were too close together to have an intimate conversation.

Our server was very attentive and offered good suggestions. The ribeye was tasty. The Brussels sprouts were about the best I’ve had. My espresso martini was super good.

Drove up from Atlanta to have a birthday lunch with family, in late January. At 1:00, we were the only people in the restaurant during our entire meal. Service was spot-on. Hassan was pleasant, attentive, polite, and helpful with info about menu items. Also they were very accommodating of all special requests in our food order. We ordered a bottle of the Chateau Elan brut prosecco before we ordered lunch, and were not disappointed (other than it could have been a little more chilled). The food was absolutely delicious. Between the 4 of us, we had 1 Crab Benedict, 2 Hot Honey Fried Chicken Biscuits, and 1 Waffle Board. Portions were very generous, nicely presented, and tasty all-around. Also, they brought us each a complimentary glass of their sparkling rose, w/ a delicious strawberry garnish, after we were done eating. It was the perfect gift to add to our birthday celebration. Overall, we ALL thought it was an excellent experience. We'll definitely dine there again; maybe a little earlier if it's a Sunday, since they close promptly at 2:00. p.s. reservations made via OpenTable

My husband and I are big foodies and are having a weekend staying at Chateau Elan’s spa for his birthday. We didn't expect much of Marc, honestly, but were blown away. We had 8oz filet mignons with lobster tails and horseradish cream, and a side of whipped potatoes. All were seasoned and prepared perfectly. No notes. We also had a wonderful bottle of biodynamic red. Very happy. Our server was wonderful too. They gave us candles on dessert for my husband’s birthday and two comped glasses of sparkling.

Our service was slow but we got there during a busy time so we didn’t mind waiting. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, we had a good experience.

Perfection, as fancy as you want it to be while as laid back as you want it to be! Everything from steak to drink to fries were phenomenal!

The lamb was so good! Very well marinated. I wished I could have had more on my plate because I seemed to have inhaled it.
