excellent time at Mar y Rosa. The cocktails were amazingly fresh and we enjoyed the octopus and branzino. some of the best views in OSJ!

El lugar tiene un ambiente muy agradable y la comida estuvo buena. Sin embargo, el mal servicio realmente opacó la experiencia. Este sigue siendo uno de los grandes retos en la industria de la hospitalidad en Puerto Rico. La falta de dirección y un buen entrenamiento al personal son factores que, lamentablemente, pueden llevar al fracaso a muchos restaurantes.

Terrible service. There were four people in our party. Their main courses came 20 minutes apart. One of the main courses did not come until approximately 20 minutes after everybody else had finished their meal. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other places with good food and better service.

Appetizers were good as usual, but unfortunately one person in our party asked for their fish well done and when our 3 plates of fish were served, the food runner didn't know which one was well done and unfortunately all 3 were overcooked and dry. At this level of restaurant, I would have expected the chef /waitstaff to be able to have one order well done and the other 2 cooked appropriately. They were out of the first wine we asked for, and the second one and took over 30 mins and 2 waitstaff to actually get a bottle of wine. Our waitress definitely could use some additional training. Bathroom was messy and 2 stalls were without toilet paper.

Unfortunately, it was our last night and first time dining here. This was the grand finale to our trip. Wish we would have started here in this little paradise. From start to finish the experience was amazing. Main reason why we would return to viejo San Juan. Thank you!
