A serene atmosphere, extensive wine cellar, the most elegant bar, fantastic Caribbean food and Seafood with influences of the best international cuisine in Isla Verde. Mar del Caribe Restaurant, which incorporates a spacious lounge, has a touch of exclusive design, such as the impressive wooden-lined bar. The decor, a combination of the exquisite works of the artist Rogelio Maldonado, the high ceilings in wood, the tables with tablecloths and napkins give a refreshing touch, with the feeling of being in a colonial hacienda.

My birthday, my friends had never been there before. They were delighted and can't wait to come visit. It's a gem a short walk beyond Isla Verde, our neighbors.

Among the best “local” upscale Puerto Rican dining experiences you can wish for. Highly recommended. Intimate. Excellent, personalized non-intrusive, attentive service with excellent all-round selections. A lot of the seafood comes directly from local fishermen.

After reading several reviews, I was under the impression that the place was a bit more casual than anticipated. Regardless, the food was great (as most have said), and the hostess and waiters were kind and attentive. Just make sure to wear something “smart casual.”

Considering it was Mother’s Day they were prepared with a preselected good options menu. Yet were willing to respond to special request that were not in the offered menu.

We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile. Very unusual theses days. The food and service was great. We had lobster ravioli and the skirt steak. Both were excellent. Only complaint is the red wine by the glass was cold so if you like a bold cab you may want a bottle.

We truly enjoyed our dining experience here. The service was top notch, very attentive to our drinks and needs. The food also was very flavorful and cooked to our liking. Thank you!

It was our first time visit to the restaurant. It was very good. The only thing was that they didn’t asked if we wanted tap or bottle water and they gave us bottle water and charge $9.00 dollars for it.

Outstanding meal! Do not hesitate to try Mar del Caribe! My son asked for lobster and he got exactly what he asked for and more. He also mentioned the french fries were the best he’d ever had. Churrasco steak and rice and beans were cooked to perfection. Family of 4 and everyone loved their meal. Service was great! Restaurant was super cute and off the beaten path. If you’re looking for seafood and a quiet spot to enjoy authentic Puerto Rican cuisine..head to this place. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
