By Renowned Mexican Chef, Enrique Olvera, Manta is the culinary centerpiece of The Cape, A Thompson Hotel. With an intriguing double meaning, the manta ray symbolizes the kitchen"s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for blanket, conveys the chef's emphasis on comfort. Acknowledge by the New York Times for his "way of confirming and subverting expectations of Mexican food at the same time," Olvera has drawn inspiration from the izakaya tradition to introduce a pan-Pacific concept of Mexican cuisine. The intimate, richly textured space features a dramatic exhibition kitchen and a curated beverage menu focused on mezcals, tequilas and sakes.

As always, perfect sunset restaurant with exceptional meal & service. The tasting /family menu is a solid choice. Can’t go wrong with this decision!

Excellent views, the experience of a Michelin restaurant is so different than those that aren’t. 4 course deal was fantastic. The dips and seasonings are a great addition too!

Awesome dinner at Manta! Wonderful service from Gerardo and Aldair. My sister and I dined here last night. Ambiance/ vibe is pretty romantic but we still enjoyed the view and delicious food/drinks. They have a few different menu options here, 3 course and 4 course set menus, or a la carte. We did a la carte because we wanted to try a bunch of things but didn't feel hungry enough to each have our own 4 plates. Tuna ceviches & fish tacos were our favorites!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Dinner at Manta is a must when in Cabo. Service was impeccable. Ika was attentive the entire evening, making superb recommendations while providing historical background to each dish. I had the mushroom dumplings, Korean fried chicken and fish tacos. The texture of the dumplings were perfect. The Korean fried chicken had just the right spice and the fish tacos were delectable. My wife had the sampling menu which was seasonal and everything included was phenomenal. I asked her after dinner on a scale of one to ten, what would she give it and she said 11! You owe it to yourself to visit Manta when in Cabo.

Manta is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. Highly recommend having dinner here even if you are not staying at the Cape. Delicious and amazing service!

Beautiful location. Good service. Food is just okay. Way overpriced. 15% service charge was automatically added (only 2 of us), but you are expected to tip the customary rates in addition to the automatic service charge. I would go back for a drink, definitely not dinner.

Nada sobresaliente , el precio de los vinos ridículo, una botella de 150 usd la venden en 1500 usd . Eso es un abuso, independientemente de los impuestos y gastos de importación.
