As a pioneer of yakiniku with now more than 70 years of history, MANPUKU brings you the authentic “Taste of Tokyo” experience focuses on bites of raw protein and vegetables cooked tableside over small grills and eaten fresh and hot.

MANPUKU, which means “to be happy with a full stomach” in Japanese, brings interactive Japanese yakiniku dining to Dallas with its first Texas restaurant, slated to open on Lower Greenville June 29.

I had an amazing dining experience at Manpuku! The Japanese BBQ here is top-notch, with high-quality meats and a variety of delicious options to choose from. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a fun night out. The staff was attentive and helpful, explaining the menu and grilling tips to ensure everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the freshness of the ingredients and the authentic flavors. Overall, I highly recommend Manpuku for anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional Japanese BBQ experience! Will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a birthday celebration at this local restaurant, and I must say that the experience was truly exceptional. The restaurant's ambiance was charming, the staff exhibited remarkable attentiveness, and the cuisine was exquisite. Overall, it was an unforgettable and delightful occasion.

food not bad, fresh. but very very salty. If you can provide fresh meat then don’t make it too salty. Very pricy. Consider you could eat 10x in Gyu Kaku at only 1/2 of the price with 90% similar environment, I would say very very not worth the price. Gave 20% tip, the staff still gave me the look 🙂‍↔️

This place used to be amazing. Unsure what has happened. Did the original owners sell out? Last year we dined here at least a dozen times and it was busy with a long wait and the good was amazing. The restaurant had 3 other diners on a Saturday night. They took out the barstools and they shrunk up the portion sizes. And watered down the taste. It's sad.

Business Meetings in the evening are always difficult, especially when the waiters bring the check to the wrong person!! Please Please be mindful to bring the check to the proper person - it is not difficult!! Food was great and so was service other than the check fiasco. This will probably cause me to no longer bring clients to this establishment sadly. I will just need to bring friends going forward

Had a group of 6 for a Birthday Dinner. Very attentive & Super Friendly Staff, where they were always 1 step ahead. Every dish was a pleasant surprise w/ a slight twist & very tasty seasonings, but never too much. Thank you Manpuku !
