Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

The crab cake was bland and did not taste like it was made in Maryland. I would not recommend it.

The service was outstanding, checking on our table several times during the meal. My friend did comment that she preferred a little less interruption, but I did not mind. The food we ordered was delicious: cesar salad with fried chicken and smash burger with fries. The fried chicken was a highlight for me. The spicy hot margarita was delicious.

The food was great, we were there on half price pizza night so also a great value. Pizza was great as were the wings and cocktail. It was a little cold where we were sitting, bring a jacket or sweater.

This being restaurant week I was disappointed with a lack of flavor chicken meatballs on the menu. However, the chicken sandwich is always a hit otherwise known as the bird is the word

I was super appreciative of their service!! I've always known the food and atmosphere were great, but we went this time while I'm on a strict diet because I'm 9 months pregnant. They didn't even bat an eye when I asked if they could accommodate me, and the manager even came out to check on me specifically when the food came out, to make sure it met my needs. I can't wait to go back with our kiddo and I can enjoy the menu at its fullest!!

We had a reservation but arrived a half hour early, and they had no problem seating us earlier. The service was excellent and the food delicious.
