Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

We had a reservation but arrived a half hour early, and they had no problem seating us earlier. The service was excellent and the food delicious.

I met some friends here for dinner. I was glad to have made a reservation because, even though it was a Thursday early evening, it was very busy. We were seated right away and had a great time. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was attentive. There were some larger groups there and they were a little loud. That wasn't really a problem. It was energizing to see how much fun they were having. Parking in Ellicott City that night was a challenge but it was good to see how many people were down to enjoy the town. All in all, a great experience.

For the 4th year in a row I have hosted a dinner after my Featured. artist show at The Artists' Gallery in Ellciott City....always a good time

Enjoyed our mushroom pizza and morrocan carrots. Server was very friendly and attentive and made great recommendations.

We came on a Monday night and we’re surprised that it was pizza night. The pizzas were great and each piece pizza was $10 along with discounted drink prices and discount on appetizers. Very impressive. I haven’t been there in a long time and with this new chef I’ll definitely be back.
