Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

The hostess was pretty rude to us when we brought a stroller in indicating they are not permitted (I can’t see where it says this on open table so not sure how I would know). The stroller collapses to a car seat so it could fit into a high chair if necessary. She also reprimanded me for making a reservation for 3 people when we had two babies and said it should have been made for 5 people. Food was great, server was sweet. Would still come back just WONT bring my stroller!

Location was chosen due to fireplace in the dining area; however staff refused to turn on the fireplace due to patrons sitting near the remote control. Salad quality was poor, the pasta was delicious. The waiter was courteous and attentive to our food requests. I would return, but I would ask to sit downstairs.

We had a lovely brunch at Manor Hill Tavern. I had the breakfast burrito with egg, bacon, sausage, guacamole, pico, etc. served with a corn salad. It was moist and flavorful, what a heat blend of savory flavors. My friend had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a potato casserole. The service was great. Our server was attentive and great with refills. I highly recommend Manor Hill Tavern for brunch or lunch since they offered their full menu in addition to their brunch menu. You will not be disappointed.

I forgot our server name, but she was absolutely amazing. we ordered so much food there, pizza. My goodness was absolutely amazing. We also got chicken wings delicious, the chicken sandwich was bon appetite so I give this restaurant 10 plus stars for service food and atmosphere was warm and welcoming we will be back!!!

Came for early New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was delicious and Happy Hour prices were great. Loved the crispy Brussel sprout appetizer with goat cheese as the substitute to blue cheese. Brick oven pizza had thin, perfectly smoky crust with mouthwatering toppings. We hope to return.
