Our British gastropub offers relaxed fine dining with a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere and our chefs create hearty dishes using seasonal ingredients.

Enjoy a blend of traditional pub food with modern culinary flair. Or join us for a classic Sunday lunch with local vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and rich gravy together with your choice of meats or veggie options.

Great atmosphere. Lovely new years eve party. Busy but lots of extra staff working to make the night special. I only scored the food as average as I never ate a meal during the eve so couldn't really comment. However on previous visits food has been excellent

Really looking forward to Christmas Day Alan (my husband) has terminal cancer as many of you may know it’s been a tough few years cancer and chemo really knock you for six so many ups and downs. This year has been tough for many reasons and so we decided to have Christmas dinner out a late booking took me to the Open Table App and suggested the Manor at Garsington! After reading a few reviews I thought ok to book. We always cook Christmas dinner at home but I felt I needed a break and so did the rest of the family! So today was a very disappointing experience we walked in to the pub first and were directed to go across to the tent which we did I then had to find some one in another tent who could explain where we were to sit. Not a great start! No meet and greet and it wasn’t cheap either. We found our table eventually after making several enquiries a drinks waiter eventually came another waiter came and confirmed our sitting I explained that my husband had cancer and was un well and unable to join us and that our other son was at home looking after him perhaps we could take a meal home for him? Yes it was noted and the Christmas dinner would be ready to collect when we left. So we waited for approximately hour and 40 mins for our maincourse pretty unbelievable. We were asked from time to time did we require any more drinks and were we ok? I explained we were waiting for our main meal and was reassured it was being plated up!! He did not engage much after this. So long story short it was a disappointing meal we waited 2 hours for it the turkey was not as you would think not sliced but two great chunks of tasteless meat roast pots were awful Brussels ok parsnips ok pigs in blankets ok. Gravy was ok obviously from a packet. Today was going to be special but The Manor at Garsington failed to deliver. You graciously removed the service charge and decided not to charge for the drinks no big deal we had sparkling water and two Non alcoholic cocktails. Disaster for my fa

Absolutely shocking, the food was awful! No roast potatoes on a Christmas dinner? Microwave mash potatoes?? The Brussels sprouts were rock solid. The sea bass was foul! One waitress was utterly rude and extremely unhelpful! Considering I have been to the restaurant a few times and have been ok this was very disappointing. I will not be going back.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback, we are so very disappointed to see this. We endeavour to provide clear descriptions of all our dishes on our website, in our menus and via our pre-order system, that all guests were required to complete this year in order to confirm their booking for Christmas Day. Our general manager himself checked on your table, and you paid with him. We would have been more than happy to change or rectify any issues would they have come to our attention before the dishes were consumed in their entirety. We can only offer our deepest apologies and hope that you will give us another try in the future.

The Manor provided an exceptional experience for our group of eight from the moment we arrived. The venue was beautifully decorated and radiated a festive atmosphere. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and ensured we were well looked after until it was time to be seated for our meal. Every member of the team was helpful, polite, and attentive, showing great care in handling our food and drink orders with precision. The management went above and beyond to make our visit even more special, both during and after the meal. The atmosphere was perfect, and the staff’s consistent check-ins added to the seamless experience. It was evident that their shared commitment to excellence stemmed from the leadership and professionalism of the management team. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening, which was filled with fantastic entertainment, fun, and laughter—all made possible by the outstanding efforts of The Manor’s team. Thank you for such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Friendly service, food amazing, value for money the only criticism I have is they should now have the heating on now.

Absolutely wonderful Sunday roast today and staff amazing. The food was so good and tasty. Staff attentive as always , Family from Cornwall joined us and were also impressed 10/10. Thank you.
