It's a neighborhood joint for us. My first time (wife's second). New Years Eve - low key for us. Food was very good - love the sardines - not going to find that many places. Salads (Beet and Apple / Arugula Ceasar) were great. Pastas (one stuffed with short rib, one "standard" with lamb) were great. Server and staff were very attentive, as were the managers. We loved the music they played last night. Great fun!

We really wanted to love this place. The decor and feel of the space is great, good size, comfortable, not too loud but vibrant. I hope we just got a bad night in the kitchen. The truffle pasta forgot to add the truffle, some of the raviolis were literally empty, no filling at all. The squash pasta had gritty sugar in the filling on some bites making it very sweet and a bit gritty. The crab pasta was very salty. The zucchini blossoms were delicious, full of cheese which I loved but some at the table thought too much cheese throughout. The calamari was tiny bits of deep fried crumbs. Could not really taste the calamari and the diablo sauce was appropriately named, very spicy. The verde salad was excellent, the rice balls were average. They seemed to have a full bar but the menu only listed wine. The server was a bit salty but the service was good. Food came fast although 1/2 of the entrees came quite a bit before the other half with no explanation. We finally asked and then the others came. Overall we loved the space but the food was not worthy of a repeat visit.

That’s something we’ll work to improve, as well as ensuring that our team is more attentive in communicating with guests when there are any delays. As for the bar menu, we do offer a full selection of cocktails—I'm sorry if that wasn’t clear! I hope you’ll give us another chance in the future. If I could give Mano a Mano 6 stars I would! This restaurant understands food, of course, but what keeps us coming back is the personal service — we feel like VIPs every time we go, and they are so good at it, I bet everyone feels this way.

Maya did a great job and was attentive without being pushy. They are great with allergies as well. The beet and apple salad was amazing, and the Amatriciana! Tiramisu was a table favorite :)

Everything we ordered was excellent. Standouts were the bruschetta, meatballs and short rib stuffed pasta. $25 corkage is reasonable. John was excellent server. Will be back. Only minor criticism is it would be nice to have a few larger entrees (whole branzino, pork shank as examples).
