We dined for my wife’s birthday, she said it was the best steak she had ever eaten. The food was amazing and all of the staff were so professional and friendly. The maitre D made everyone feel so special. We will be going again definitely

Very cold in restaurant all evening Food was amazing apart from cheese board .Chutney just plonked on dish and butter just looked like it had been thrown on Waitress knocked glass of wine over snapping stem off. She was very apologetic and horrified. It was an accident. Friend was given new glass of wine. I wasn’t offered anything apart from some tissue to dry from trousers which were soaking

We are regular visitors of Manning’s.This particular lunch was the worst.On arrival the bar appeared closed,but this was due to no lights,so dark and without atmosphere.A very quiet lunchtime with only 4 other tables booked.A fully changed dining staff done their job . The new head,Daniel.was very good but the service was not backed up by the food.The salad with the starters did not seem fresh,portions were small.although ample and tasty duck terrine there were only 3 little finger size toast with it.The mains again not up to the usual standard,rice was probably microwaved and the normally excellent steak sizzler was just swamped in Stilton.The restaurant has gone from a favorite to a maybe never again! What’s changed,new management,new chef,new ownership?

Excellent choice of menu. Huge portions on main meal so lots of value for money. Great attentive service.

I took my partner for his 30th birthday before we went to the theatre. The food and service was amazing, great portion size for the price and was so tasty. The only only thing I would say is the music was a bit loud and not music I would have on for the ambience of the place. Overall it was a great evening meal.

I can’t write anything other than great service fantastic food but was extremely noisy.But I was scammed Mannings had there system hacked,abs gutted and having to sort out so spoilt my evening.Food was fantastic though couldn’t give full stars because a system should be in place to protect your customers how did this happen?

Lovely restaurant, food good but not excellent as expected. The worst part of the evening was tables being positioned so close together, felt like I was sitting on the lap of the person next to me..spoilt all conversation and ambience….On top of that the family from hell were positioned in the larger room. I refused to be seated next to them and some diners left before ordering…horrendous, like being in a zoo

Good food and good service. Accommodating for gluten free and had good choice for kids too.

Lovely place and menu - just a little expensive eg £45 for the cheapest red wine which as we know is quite a mark up … Varied and different menu and fabulous service ….
