From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly. The the ambience of the restaurant so beautiful. The cuisine was absolutely delicious. Every single dish we had was so good. Flavors bursting in our mouths. The puff pastry, the ribs, the oxtail. This was for my husband’s birthday, Chef London sent out the sorrel cheesecake and as well as a delicious warm cake, we ate every single bite, so yummy. Thank you to chef London Chase and the staff who made us feel so welcome. We are going to make Mango Bay a weekly visit if our schedules allow us to.

This newly opened restaurant has great potential because of its wonderful setting and location in the heart of the DeKalb restaurant district. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the appetizer (Jamaican-spiced octopus) very tasty. However the drinks were small with little alcohol and overall just meh. We planned to order a second but after the first just said pass. The main dish--Mango curry with jumbo prawns--had just two prawns, most of which were the inedible portions. It took three minutes just to clean off this off so I could eat the small amout of remaining prawn. There were no vegetables and little else in the curry. The dish was the size of an appetizer at most places. Hint for the future: clean the prawns and add some veggies.

Absolute fav first visit to a restaurant in a long time. Beautiful ambiance that isn’t trying too hard, while also tying into the restaraunt’s theme. I had the prawns and they were better than expected which is saying something because the food is stunning. My friend had the bush fowl. You can’t miss with either but I will be coming back for the jerk chicken Caesar salad. If you’re a Wray and nephew fan, try out the London Chase cocktail Staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the menu.

I had a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday. We arrived at the restaurant and it was closed, even though they confirmed the reservation. There was no answer when I tried getting in touch with someone. It was really disappointing. We had family come from out of town.
