This was our first visit to Mangia Napoli, but it won’t be our last. The restaurant is really cute, the food is great, and the service was outstanding! The portions were huge, and the prices are reasonable. We definitely had plenty of leftovers! We needed to be out within a certain amount of time, and they took care of us beautifully! The section of the restaurant in which we sat was not too loud, but not so quiet that you felt strange. It was definitely louder in the bar area, so if that is a concern, sit in the restaurant section. I highly recommend Mangia Napoli!

Delightfully quaint restaurant, reminiscent of small neighborhood places in New York and the old Chicago Patch (Taylor Street area). Delicious meals - not pre-prepared - will accommodate off menu choices, very attentive service and table visits by management to make sure diners were happy. Very reasonable prices. Nothing to not like about the dining experience provided there. Very much looking forward to my next visit there.

First time at Mangia Napoli. Cocktails were plentiful and well made (vodka martini and old fashioned). We were presented with the specials menu in addition to the regular menu; it appears the specials change daily, as the specials menu we had was from the previous day. We ordered the fried calamari salad which was large enough to share and was very tasty. I ordered braciole off the specials menu and my wife ordered chicken napoli off the regular menu since she has celiacs and has to be careful about how much gluten she takes in. Our server must have mentioned that to management because we had (assuming) the manager stopping at our table regularly to check on our order. My wife said her chicken napoli was good; my braciole was also good but different from what we make at home. Both were large enough to share and we each took our remainders home. We will go back again.

We loved the deep dish pizza here! It was tasty, big, and stayed fresh even the next day for breakfast. The only thing keeping me from a 5-star review is the harsh white lighting, which felt like a hospital setting. Warm lighting would make the ambiance cozier :)

My husband and I dined here with another couple - all of us for the first time and the food was delicious! Mangia Napoli is a place that doesn’t look like much from the outside but is a real gem on the inside. Our appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and the sausage and peppers were so good! I had the lobster stuffed pasta and the sauce was heavenly. We will definitely come again!

We ended up not dining here. I sent a message to Open Table regarding our experience but never heard back. We had a 6:00 reservation. Waited an hour while some walk ins got seated. The manager/owner’s frustration with being overwhelmed was made evident to the customers. Names were not being taken. It’s like the reservation system was ignored. While we were sitting waiting we looked on Open Table and all the dining slots were still available even though the restaurant was backed up. We love the food here and the wait staff is always nice. We have noticed the last 3 times we were there 2 of the servers and the bartender were not there. The limited wait staff were doing the best they could.
