The food was delicious. My husband had the pesto and lived it. I had black linguine with incredible seafood and a spicy sauce. Service was excellent. Looking toward to a return visit

Checked some reviews from Yelp, and decided to try the new restaurant Mangia E Bevi and were so happy we did. From the first time we walked in, we were greeted by the owner Stacy & her husband Mike. Outstanding personalities, recommended several dishes which were spot on. We started with the Pesto stuffed burrata, Beef Carpaccio & baked Oysters. All were excellent, outstanding! We finished with the Funghi (mushroom) flatbread and again very good. Can't wait to go back, tremendous menu to choose from, Great ambiance and John the bartender was great also. Great restaurant!

Food was amazing drinks amazing service amazing, everyone is so friendly staff came over several times to make sure we had everything we needed definitely going back in the future

Had dinner last night with friends at Mangia E Bevi a relatively new restaurant on Merrick Road in Massapequa Park. All in all a very good experience and we will definitely go back!! Still a few growing pains but certainly has a great deal of promise. Reservation was honored on time ( always a plus), great focaccia bread and olive oil brought to the table, drink orders taken. Three out of 4 came very quickly, the fourth got delayed in transit. It happens. Specials described-order taken. For appts our friends shared the fried calamari which was excellent, great sauce on the side, and a very nice portion suitable for sharing ( in fact it was large enough for all of us to enjoy). My wife and I shared a ceaser salad. It was good but small ( a little pricey for what was served but very tasty!!). I would not suggest sharing it. Entrees - all very good! My wife had the Branzino off the menu and enjoyed it. One of our friends had the red snapper (menu) and the other opted for the swordfish special. Again, both very good. I ordered the bone in veal chop parm- I did ask for marinara instead of vodka sauce. (the chicken parm gave an option of either marinara or vodka sauce- I may have confused the server). I was served the chicken parm - with marinara and it was excellent. We also ordered 2 additional sides escarole with beans and the Brussel sprouts. Both very good! When we pointed out the error on the veal vs. chicken the restaurant was extremely apologetic and sent us over deserts on the house - unnecessary but delicious!! The management 3 or 4 were a steady presence in the dining area making sure everything was ok. Special shout out to Rob who was excellent and the women owner - wedidnot catch her name. I am looking forward to going back and trying the veal!!! One more excellent touch which I have never seen before. We had some of the entree wrapped to go (again nice size portion) -instead of bringing it back to the table they give I a claim ticket!! Great idea!!

First timer here. Everything was fabulous. Decor - lighting - ambiance - food was delish. Service was fabulous. I’ll be back next week for “date night” at the bar with my hubby

Having visited Mangia Bevi twice now, it is definitely now in our rotation to stay! The first time, we enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the bar with friends. The pizza I must say was amazing! Last night we sat for dinner with another couple, and everything was perfect! We had a 8:00 reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. We loved the upbeat atmosphere, and our servicer David was very attentive. For starters, my friend and I shared a Caesar salad it was fresh and delicious. Her husband had the escarole and bean soup and my husband had shrimp cocktail (the shrimp were huge!). We all enjoyed our apps. For dinner I went with the veal chop valdostano, which was probably the best veal dish I’ve ever had! My friend ordered the branzino, her husband had the chicken luciano, and my husband chose the linguini in white clam sauce. Each dish had very large portions and were delicious! We ate, drank, and enjoyed the whole evening. We were not rushed at all, which is always really important to us since we like to take our time. We never felt rushed at all. We were too full for dessert, and I was still enjoying my wine, but next time I will try to leave room since the dessert menu looked amazing!

The food was delicious at Mangia E Bevi! The short ribs were so tender and my kids were so happy they had Riccotta for their pasta. Highly recommend ordering the Italian Margarita. Beautiful ambience, my family will definitely be back for more!

Service and food are good, but prices are quite steep. We had spicy rigatoni vodka for $29 and chicken Milanese for $45. We had to forgo an appetizer and dessert due to prices of entrees. I’d go back to try their flatbreads, but unfortunately it can’t be in our regular rotation due to pricing. We were there on a Wednesday night, so the restaurant was quiet and we were able to talk easily.

Second time eating at Mangia E Bevi and each time food and staff were excellent. Owners are circulating and making sure diners are happy. Will definitely be going back.
