Combinant une atmosphère décontractée avec une cuisine contemporaine du Sud à base de produits frais, le Mandoline apporte une bouffée d'air frais à la scène culinaire de Raleigh. Tout comme la « ville des chênes », le Mandoline est profondément attaché à ses racines du Sud, mais tire son inspiration des quatre coins du monde. We enjoyed the food, our server, Sara, was attentive, and the restaurant is attractive. The evening-killer for us was that we had extreme difficulty hearing one another given the structure of the room, tables too close to one another, and the loud party of 6+ next to us and the other loud group of 5 across the room. This is a restaurant on the right path, for sure. If I were the manager, I would put a note on the menus saying something like "We hope you enjoy your dining experience. Please use your "inside voice" so that other diners enjoy theirs, too." If there is a way to help dampen noise through renovation, I hope that this restaurant can do it, because the food and ambiance are very nice.

Wonderful spot for brunch and for every meal. Everyone in our party ordered something different and all were pleased. Such fresh and local choices. Yummy mimosas. Really enjoyed our waitstaff Sarah. Thanks for taking good care of us

Great meal and experience until... our designated driver kept getting charged for Diet Coke refills. Which brought my overall rating down. What was the true cost for 3 refills of DC on a $700 check of food and cocktails??

This place used to be far better, hadn’t been here as much in past few years. Don’t envision many return trips. Food was meh, service was nice but slow, costs high relative to meal/atmosphere/quality/experience.

Party of six with reservations- service was good but entrees and desserts were very slow coming out. Portions were good, however the collards, tomato soup and oysters were by far the highlights of the meal. The pork chop, chicken and waffles and ribeye were average - disappointing for the price. Noise level was annoying and made it difficult to socialize.

Loved my meal! Food was fresh and atmosphere was quite reserved. Service was okay, waitress seemed to be annoyed with the questions we had about our meal. Parking is not the best, be sure to get there early if you have reservations.

All 4 of us had never eaten there & we were pleasantly surprised to find it as good as it was! From the Food, to the Wine selection, & the Service, Excellent!! The Ambience & the Entire Staff, especially our Servers were "Better than Most"! My only Kerfuffle, the Noise Level! Loud!!

I love that Mandolin now serves lunch. It's a perfect location for a business lunch or ladies lunch. Food, atmosphere and service are always excellent.
