When we got there at 5:15 PM and nobody else was there. It looks like they do a lot of takeout. Their food is absolutely incredible and if I live closer, I would be there often. Great place to go before concert at the mountain winery. The staff was super attentive and the food was incredible!!!

First time at this Indian restaurant, we had an overall great experience. Service was prompt, parking was easy, ambiance and decor was nice and clean, and everything we ordered was delicious 😋. Our standout menu items that we ordered were the butter chicken, fish dish (forgot name), and the chicken dumplings. My only recommendation to the restaurant is that they consider adding acoustic ceiling tiles and wall panels to the large dining room area. The walls are barren which creates an echo effect, and conversations from other tables bounce all over the room very easily. Otherwise keep doing what you’re doing! Will recommend, and will return!

The papadum is amazing, served with 3 sauces; mango, mint and tamarind. I have had the lamb korma, amazing, the fish curry, very delicate, and I just had the rack of lamb also served with sauces, including a curry. The lamb was so tender. This restaurant is definitely a late night find.

Excellent food, as always. Friendly and attentive service. The portions are ample but a bit less generous than in the pre-pandemic era. I’ve found that true in every restaurant I’ve gone to recently so I don’t think the number of stars should be reduced for that. We still had leftovers to take home. One item I have to disclose is that, on the busy Saturday evening that we were there, the noise level was high. Not painful, but definitely up there. I can’t see how that is fixable without a major reconstruction of the place. It didn’t detract from the experience of the group I was with, but it’s probably not an ideal place for an intimate date.

We ordered a starter, a curry and 2 naans. While the naans were good and bigger than usual, the curry was served in a small brass dish with a very thick base, which was barely enough for one naan. At a price of 18$ this was definitely a disappointment. The waiter was too nosy which made us uncomfortable.

We always have a great meal at Mandala and this was no exception. The service is great and the food tastes really good and flavorful. Great for take out too!
