Mamma Lombardi's is a family-owned traditional Italian restaurant. The Lombardi family has been actively serving food in Long Island for over 40 years. This little eatery has built its reputation on incredible Neapolitan recipes and a totally scratch kitchen. Mamma Lombardi's is a natural fit for large groups, as family dining is such a staple of Italian culture. The restaurant even has several private event spaces where diners can celebrate any occasion.Mamma Lombardi's menu is divided between lunch, dinner and the pizzeria. Pizza is such a versatile dish in the hands of the Mamma Lombardi's kitchen staff that it got its own menu with dozens of recipes as well as having a build-your-own option. The main dinner menu contains all of the classic Italian dishes diners could want: spaghetti carbonara, grilled filet mignon, chicken parmesan, chicken bolognese, penne with shrimp and veal milanese just to name a few.

Sadly disappointed. Seated quickly. Food came out immediately, very rushed. The food was horrible. I ordered calamari marinara and the sauce was like a soup. Watery no taste. Pasta was hard and calamari was tough. Waiter was at our table every 3 minutes. This place has become an assembly line. In and out in 25 minutes. Not a good sign when food comes out too fast. Just horrible. Felt very rushed, didn’t even finish my food and they were already clearing our plates. On to the next table. We paid the bill and were digesting but waiter kept starring at us to leave already so they can bring next party in. Would not recommend unless you want tasteless food and a rushed dinner. Not worth the money

The food was very good and the service was excellent but all we heard when ordering was “upcharge “. To think there was an upcharge for angel hair pasta instead of spaghetti or linguine was ridiculous. To put the same scampi sauce on the pasta of my scampi dish “ UPCHARGE “ really makes me not want to return on principle. The bread was stale and dry until we paid extra for garlic bread. Too much nitpicking for me.

You cannot go wrong with Momma Lombardis. Forget the weekends and enjoy a great meal with great service during the week. Every entree is outstanding, big portions and don’t be concerned about other fish besides shrimp and calamari, baked salmon over broccoli rabe and shiitake mushrooms is delicious and comes with a salad! Of course, excellent wine, Prosecco and Peroni beer too. Service is professional and not at all intrusive.

Server was extremely attentive and outgoing. Food is 11 out of 10. Been going here for years and its still one of the best italian restaurants ive been too

Great service and attention to details. Enjoyed our dinners . We enjoyed our entrees - Pasta dish - Penne alla Lock and Fettuccini Alfredo. Had Clams Casino- prepared a little differently than we were expecting .

Another wonderful experience at one of our favorite places. Restaurant is very busy on the weekends but we were treated like we were the only patrons there. The service, food, and ambiance were all 5 stars!!!! We cannot wait to return.

Everything about our luncheon was perfect. Having lunch at 2:30 was the answer…..quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The staff was extremely attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was quiet and comfortable. A very enjoyable experience!
