Mamma Lombardi's is a family-owned traditional Italian restaurant. The Lombardi family has been actively serving food in Long Island for over 40 years. This little eatery has built its reputation on incredible Neapolitan recipes and a totally scratch kitchen. Mamma Lombardi's is a natural fit for large groups, as family dining is such a staple of Italian culture. The restaurant even has several private event spaces where diners can celebrate any occasion.Mamma Lombardi's menu is divided between lunch, dinner and the pizzeria. Pizza is such a versatile dish in the hands of the Mamma Lombardi's kitchen staff that it got its own menu with dozens of recipes as well as having a build-your-own option. The main dinner menu contains all of the classic Italian dishes diners could want: spaghetti carbonara, grilled filet mignon, chicken parmesan, chicken bolognese, penne with shrimp and veal milanese just to name a few.

2nd time there and again a great meal and dessert! People were all very friendly and accommodating. Drinks were made to perfection.

We got the baked lasagna and veal alla mama Lombardi and stuffed mushrooms and they were all magnificent! The pomegranate martini, chocolate cappuccino and chocolate mousse were rich in flavor and savory. We got lunch at 1pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was nice and quiet. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were attentive.

I asked waiter Anthony how the Shrimp was served. He told me they come clean with no shells. I explained to him I must have the shells removed. When the shrimps came to my table the shells were still on the shrimp. I should have sent them back but as it was our food took so long to get to get to us I wasn't going to chase sending it back. At Mama Lombardi's it's always a hit or miss. Never consistent at all.

I have eaten here several times and it has always been outstanding. The food is delicious and the portions are quite generous. Some favorites include: shrimp parm, veal parm, salmon and risotto, and meatballs. Service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. They aim to please, and they never fail. Highly recommend.

Had a reservation and wait was short(less than 15 minutes). Food was delicious. Filet mignons were excellent cuts of meat and cooked perfectly to order. Veal was tender and both the Parmesan and Marsala versions were made very well. Ambience was very nice. A little drafty by the windows on a cold windy night. William was our waiter and was very nice and accommodating. Very good experience enjoyed by the family. Will be coming back.

Always an enjoyable experience and a fabulous taste sensation. We went at 7 o’clock on a Thursday night. The restaurant was packed.. The service was excellent as they were very attentive to all our needs at all times. The stuffed veal chop was to die for as was the grilled calamari oreganato .
