Our first time and meal here was “okay” but nothing was special enough to make me want to return. Our server was friendly, delivering our cocktails soon after we sat down. The others at my table had the chicken Parmesan, but no one made any comment about it being great etc. It was alright. I had salmon with fregula and broccolini. It was fairly tasty due to a sauce but the salmon was overcooked. I ordered bread and whipped ricotta for the table; the ricotta was yummy but the bread was somewhat dry. I hoped for something more special from dessert, but even that was just okay. The gelato was tasty, and it came with espresso to pour over it, but some whipped cream or something else might have lifted it up to special. The place is cute and lively, and fairly busy for a weeknight evening. Maybe it’s because we were seated upstairs, but the music seemed to get louder as we sat and tried to chat, so we asked the server to see if it could be turned down. That did the trick. All in all, it was a decent but not great meal. It’s a shame because we need a good upscale Italian restaurant in N KY.

Always a great experience here. Food is amazing, great service, awesome ambiance. If I may make a recommendation, get the Lobster Ravioli with a side of Meatballs and pair bites together. You will NOT be disappointed (the ultimate off menu order)

This was our first visit to Mama's & everything was delicious. The cocktails, Caesar Salad, Arancini (that SAUCE! nice & spicy!), the Ricotta Gnocchi & Mushroom Tagliarini were all excellent. We will be back to try other items. Attentive service & great vibe.

My wife and I attended for our anniversary. The food and service were very good. The one wine we wanted they were out of. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

Very cool vibe. Our server was new and still did a good job she was very sweet and the food was well portioned and fantastic. We loved the Arancini.

They have a simple formula -- very limited menu allows them to focus on doing an excellent job on those dishes. It works. Although it is not a large restaurant, they are high on OpenTable's list of most-reserved places in the metro area. Also they were the featured restaurant in Cincinnati Magazine's Italian Eats issue. Both for good reasons.
