Mama has channelled her inner-cool and set up a home from home in the capital’s hip East. With a playfully designed restaurant, garden bar and Japanese-style karaoke rooms, Mama will both spoil and inspire you in a handy settling, close to Bethnal Green underground and a hop away from Shoreditch!!

Serving up both local dishes and signature favourites, Mama’s restaurant is always buzzing. Grab a cocktail, share dishes with friends or decompress in the garden bar after meetings. Let Mama take care of you! (Please note when booking the Garden bar, it is not a guarantee and your booking may be moved into the main restaurant - Mama thanks you in advance for your understanding <3)

For 90 minutes, you can choose from a range of unlimited Classic cocktails such as: Prosecco, Bellini, Chandon Garden Spritz, Mama Bloody Mary, Classic Negroni, With the deal, you can choose between one of our three delicious “Modern Classic” Brunch dishes. It is available to book between 12pm and 3pm and it will be in our enchanted Garden Bar. Enjoy funky beats from a selection of DJ’s and live musicians on rotation. I’ve been to Mama Shelter in Paris many times and the food there is EXCELLENT, just ok in Shoreditch, however, the aesthetic is fab, and the karaoke was a 10/10 - I’d be back just for that. The waiter we had on the night was great - he worked hard for us so props to him!

I always enjoy my visits to Mama Shelter. This was a first time using the karaoke rooms - they're beautiful and very comfortable. The Lucky Voice system is fine, but I think could be improved. It's quite awkward trying to use the touch screen which seems like it needs recalibrating for easier use. Cocktails are always good here, albeit slightly overpriced for the location. But honestly, the service and atmosphere is fab,nand I've noticed over the years how well they select staff in each role. They're a great bunch of people who make the operation seem super slick. There's a real range of people who visit, and every customer is treated the same regardless of whether is a wild hen party or a solo diner just wanting to chill in the corner of the restaurant.

Going downhill! Always had a good experience here before, but this time the waitress was very poorly trained; no one bothered to check in at our table and the food was not as nice as normal. I’d think twice about going back tbh.

I loved this restaurant when I went there first time so I decided to go again with friends. However this time it wasnt great. We have ordered a jug of cocktail. It did not have alcochol or syrup, it tasted pineapple only. Fries were soaked in oil.
