Our first time at Mama Por Dios. The food and ambiance were perfect for a date night. Lively and fun, with lots of great decor. Service was good, but slow. Sat at the table for at least 10 minutes and had to ask who our server was. Food and drinks delivered slowly, and one order of ceviche did not arrive until after our entrees. We will give them another shot, as the food and atmosphere made up for the slow service (not poor service, just slow).

Its a very fun place with its club environment. Very nice and friendly staff, however during holidays such as Valentine’s day, the wait times are very long. Waited an hour for food. Besides that very fun experience

We paid $50 to reserve a table decorated for valentines and all it had it was a red napkin with a little candle in the middle with like 1 flower… also my reservation was at 9:45 and they had no reserved tables they were taking people as coming. Definitely they were not ready for reservations and I would like to get my money back for the table reservation.

It took 20 mins to be seated after the reservation time, the experience with rose petals was not worth it. No napkins no candles. The server was nice however the wait was long between checking on us. It took about 50 mins to receive our food and all the food was cold. However the food was full of flavor.

Overall a very good experience. the wait staff was over worked due to it being Valentine's Day but they did a great job under the circumstances. her chicken Molé was the best we've ever had. my prawns Ranchero were very good but slightly overcooked and the prime asada tacos were spot on. the cocktails were outstanding and with a great ptesentation. the DJ played great music and the place was a party. overall we both enjoyed it. the total bill was $400 En general, una muy buena experiencia. el personal de servicio estaba sobrecargado de trabajo debido a que es el día de San Valentín, pero hicieron un gran trabajo dadas las circunstancias. su pollo Molé fue el mejor que hemos tenido. mis gambas Ranchero eran muy buenos, pero un poco recocido y los tacos de primera asada estaban en su punto. los cócteles eran excepcionales y con una gran ptesentation. el DJ tocaba buena música y el lugar era una fiesta. en general, ambos disfrutamos. la cuenta total fue de $ 400

Everything went perfect for me and my girl on Valentine’s Day. Meal was amazing and serving was on point.

This was our second time here and learned from our first visit to always check our bill - we were overcharged the listed price for drinks, charged an extra drink, and they would not correct the bill and instead offered us another drink. Additionally, the restaurant should have been clear regarding the $50 valentines set up, we paid for two cheap red napkins and 10 rose petals sprinkled on our table. Servers need to be trained on how to provide at the minimum baseline customer service.

Seriously one of the worst experiences of my lifetime. They should have closed or turned people away. We got there early for our reservation- went to the bar which we empty and was told by the bartender that he was understaffed so we couldn’t order a drink. We should have left then . Our party of 7 got seated . Our server took our order. Took 40 minutes for drinks. We never got our appetizers after 90 Minutes and I had to go Looking for a manger as our waitress said the kitchen said they thought the appetizers went out. Then our entrees came out and they were all cold, after we were done our server showed up with the rice and beans that were suppose to come with our entrees. Needless to say it was a very bad experience. Thankfully they took the appetizers off (Which never came and some of our drinks) - also they were short staffed but had a DJ blaring music and two guys dancing around with these masks on— kind of ridiculous when you have a full restaurant of people waiting to eat for hours and instead think having idiots dancing instead of helping the staff.

This restaurant has a lot of potential. Beautiful ambience and the food is excellent. The service was very poor. Experienced servers desperately needed here. The table next to us left without paying.
