Chef Diana leads her team in an attractive open kitchen and offers guests pure authentic Indonesian flavors, in a warm, vibrant atmosphere from early morning until late at night. Mama's signature dishes are her Rijsttafels, a colorful feast of Indonesian dishes, including starters, mains and desserts.

Rijsttafels are made for sharing, making us a perfect hot spot for a date nights or fun group celebrations.

Firdt time eating Indonesian food. we had the rice table. Server was great and explained everything and helped us order. to make sure we were good the manger stopped by to do the same. Great service all around. Great and abundunt food. Hight recommend.

Good food! Expensive though but original modern twist of the rijsttafel! Always weird when nobody speaks Dutch while in a restaurant in Amsterdam...so, it is also explicitly called rice table by the servants...

The maitre d’ told us they were fully booked and turned us away. We booked on OpenTable and went back 15 mins later and were seated in the half empty restaurant. They were whispering about us, quite rude. The waitress spilt food on our table and just left it there. The food was excellent.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in the world. Ambiance was incredible and staff was even better. Best Indonesia food we’ve ever had!

On the evening we were there they had a set menu. Half of it was good, the other half was kind of tasteless. The restaurant was quite busy, so the service was a little slow.

Food was cold but tasty, we mentioned it but here was basically no reaction. The service overall was poor.

My first time dining at MamaMakan with my loved one was truly special. The waiter, John, was amazing and gave us great recommendations on the Rijsttafel. The food was incredible, and the cocktails were really good. Thank you, MamaMakan, for making our dinner so memorable. We will definitely be coming back!
