At Malt Shovel Taphouse Geelong the focus will be on authentic stories and flavours that make craft beer so unique. It will have a changing roster of great beers combined with great people and great food.

**Please note**
Inside bookings are a combination of low tables are high tables and chairs. Bookings of 10+ will be on a high table.
All bookings outside are required to order at the bar.
Bookings Friday & Saturday after 8.30pm are DRINKS ONLY
All Friday-Sunday bookings of 20+ prior to 8.30 will be required to choose one of our group menus please send us an email to confirm these options.

Take the hassle out of Christmas & join us at MST this Christmas Day Lunch! Shared entree including king prawns, heirloom tomato salad & seared beef tataki. Shared main of roasted striploin, rotisserie herbed porchetta, turkey roulade, honey glazed ham & all the trimmings + a duo of kingfish. Sides including ancient grain salad, roasted heirloom carrots, rosemary roasted chat potatoes + summer salad. Finish things off with our Christmas dessert platter including classic Christmas pudding, smashed pavlova, tiramisu + traditional Christmas cake, tea & coffee. Adults $125 pp, Children (15 and under) $49 pp - must be paid in full at the time of booking. Drinks charged on consumption on the day.

Went for lunch , had steak sandwich , chicken Parma and chicken . Decent size portions , tasty . Couldn’t fault . It was very quiet in there but waiter service very good .

Booking experience very easy. Atmosphere was lovely. Staff were very attentive & polite, not pushy to leave as soon as we finished our meal. Food & drinks were served in a timely manner & was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Great ambience with really nice staff and the Chardy hit the spot along with great food and beer. Definitely be back again.

Ambience was nice. We booked late so we were placed at the bar /tall table Which is fine. I saw a Filipino lechon in menu I ordered that thinking it was lechon however don't get disappointed by ordering that coz it was not a real lechon it's just a pork belly roast. My partner started eating my meal however the young Filipino waitress came around dragging our plates away to the point that my partner was chasing the plate so he could put down his cutleries as he was finishing the last bite. There was no "how was your meal or can I take this plate" manners. I was a food attendant in the past but I don't do that to customers dragging away plates when my partner was still having his last bite. Also it was his birthday and we clearly indicated that in the booking. Anyway, we walked out after that we did not order dessert as we felt rushed.
