I eat here anytime I go to Lexington or Louisville. The Bluegrass special chicken is one of my all-time favorite dishes I’ve ever eaten. It’s usually absolutely delicious. While it was good tonight, the sauce, or glacé, was not right. Normally it has a little bit of sweetness to it from the bourbon. Tonight there was no sweetness, and the depth of the sauce was just not there. I did tell my server, but he did not seem particularly concerned about it. The food was still delicious it just wasn’t what I am used to. I’ve probably had this dish 10 or 12 times, and this is the very first time that it wasn’t the same. It’s no big deal but I thought I would add this so that management would know. I will definitely be back. In fact I’m going back before I leave Lexington this week. Hoping the glacé will be up to expectations then.

We have made reservations for the past 8 years at Malone's Landsdowne to celebrate our Adoption anniversary. There have been minor issues every year, but this year was by far the worst. Our reservation was for 6:30pm, no issue there as we only had to wait 10 mins for our table. Once seated we waited for 15 mins to get our drink order in, my husband ordered a mixed drink, my son was in the restroom, so we did not order his drink. When my son returned, the waitress brought mine and my daughters soft drinks and took my son's order (draft beer). Our waitress brought my son's beer and totally ignored my husband when he was asking about his drink. After 20 mins, we finally flagged her down to be told that the ticket for his drink must not have gone in. At this time, we had been at our table for 30 mins, no bread and no one took our food order. After another 9 mins, my husband finally got his drink. We placed our food order at that time. We told the waitress then that we did not have any silverware, she said "ok" and walked away. Our salad and bread arrived, we told the gentleman who brought it that we needed silverware, he went and got us some. An hour after we ordered our food it finally came. My husband ordered his steak medium well. His steak was blood red and bleeding., very far from anything other than rare. After 20 mins of trying to get someone's attention, we finally got the waitress to acknowledge us. He showed her the steak and she said "ok", then the manager came to our table and took the steak to fix it. By that time everyone else had finished eating so my husband told the manager to just put it in a to go box as we had plans, we needed to get to. The manager apologized and brought us bread and salad along with my husband's steak to go. It was clearly obvious that they were very busy, but 2 hours and 15 mins later and my husband not being able to eat with us is unacceptable to us. Over the last 7 years we have overlooked issues but last night may be our last.

Hands down best. This location was so much better than the Palomar location - food, service, ambiance, best.

Food was excellent as expected. Except that the bread was stale and hard. A steak knife was needed to cut it. Service could be better.

Kendall was such an excellent server for our anniversary last night. My steak temp was a bit under but she & the chef brung back a LOVELY recooked filet. It was the Oscar style filets, they tasted absolutely amazing! Everything was great. The appetizer, entree, my partner loves the bourbon crème brûlée. Kendall recommended a wonder Wine that I can’t even pronounce myself! Also, the busser, I believe his name is Kevin, did a very great job getting things off the table. I loved everything!

It was an overall wonderful experience. The food was exactly as ordered and came in a timely manner. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We expected and received a great dinner.
