   Service was good and menu selection great. This time food was barely warm. Biscuits were cold. Not busy so not sure what the problem was. Probably should have sent orders back but did not want to wait.

   The more our server got intoxicated with the bartender and their friends sitting at the bar, the more personable he became, but also became less attentive. We sat with empty drinks and empty plates for at least 10 minutes.

   I was so pleased with our recent visit. I took my leadership team out for a gratitude lunch and each of us were so happy with all the aspects of our experience. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations. The space was clean and welcoming. Best of all was our server who did a fantastic job. Go to Mallards and remember to support our local restaurants!!!

   So fun to order the shrimp boil! Great presentation! And Mallards is beautiful inside! We enjoyed ourselves and our food!

   Megan, our server was very good. She was friendly and attentive. The corn fritter appetizers were delicious! I had the Shrimp and Grits, my husband had the Tuscan Papparedelle, both very good. A Caesar salad a a couple glasses of wine completed out dinner. We will definitely be back!

   The food was delicious but not hot as if it came out immediately after preparing. The appetizer was closer to room temperature. The main entree was better temperature wise and was a good portion so I took leftovers home. I can’t wait to go back to try out other dishes as everyone’s plates looked tempting.
