Loved this place! The drinks, the food, the service- they were outstanding. Had a drink in the bar first then dinner in the dining room. Can’t wait to go back again!

The food was amazing! They were able to recommend wine/cocktail pairings with each course. We tried the escargot, calamari, and oysters for appetizers. The main courses were picanha, duck, and lamb chops, all were delicious. For dessert we had cheesecake with caramel, chocolate cremeux, and creme brulee, each one was just decadent as the other. Mallard is the epitome of fine dining. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First visit and was fantastic! We decided to sit in the bar area downstairs and loved the atmosphere. Will try the patio next visit. Peggy was wonderful last night and I was thrilled to see her here after knowing her at other restaurants for many years. We enjoyed everything; frisée salad, onion soup, Cobb salad, and my bacon jam burger. Look forward to returning.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Nice to see the Mainland Inn open again! Our only complaint was the noise level. It was loud.

Amazing cocktails and delicious dining experience. Cool vibe and posh decor. Thought we were downtown in Center City Philadelphia!

A good choice for fine dining for anyone in the Lansdale, Towamencin, Harleysville area who wants to avoid driving to Center City and is maybe a little bored with Blue Bell or KoP or Springhouse. Good food, knowledgeable staff, nicely restored old Inn. Handicapped accessible. A bit off the main road, which is a plus ... just use your maps app.

Beautifully decorated outside patio with flowers and plants. Food was very good, but service was slow. We could barely hear our waitress as she seemed to talk almost in a whisper. We liked the ambiance but the noise level in the downstairs bar and the upstairs restaurant was very loud.

The food, drinks and atmosphere at The Mallard did not disappoint. The Bar is my favorite spot for a relaxing dinner, small bites and drinks

My husband was disappointed. The beets in his salad tasted liked store bought marinated beets rather than fresh roasted. They were sour tasting and he found it very off putting. His pork chop (described as “carmelized”) tasted burnt. I enjoyed my meal a lot and would have given 5 stars. The Lyonnaise Salad topped with a poached egg was delicious and inventive. The Picanha (Brazilian steak) was tender and well prepared. The Frites were excellent. My only negative… there was very little taste of poivre vert in the sauce. The restaurant wasn’t crowded but there was a table of 4 who were talking so loudly that we couldn’t hear each other. They behaved as if they were the only people dining in the restaurant. Our server was very nice but we would have app her checking in with us occasionally to see if we needed anything. Overall, I think they are making an excellent effort. I would go back and give them another try.

Our party of 3 sat in the main dining room. Food was fabulous! Some of the serving staff were obviously new and didn’t have their jobs up to par yet, so that was why I gave 4 stars for that. Ambiance was great, conversation was quiet and I would highly recommend.
