Nothing was bad. Cocktails and service were very good. It was noticeably quiet for a Saturday evening. The food was good but not really worth the price tag associated.

Excellent drinks and fantastic food. Great service. Shared the crab cake appetizer which was delicious. Yellow fin tuna was great as well as the shrimp and scallops scampi. Would recommend the limoncello cake for dessert. Wonderful meal.

It was a wonderful experience on the Patio for appetizers. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful -except for the flies 🪰

We had a lovely lunch at a beautiful restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the lovely gardens!

We had a very enjoyable meal at the Mallard. The entire staff from the hostesses to the runners to our waitress Carol were attentive and welcoming. Our food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. I highly recommend the Mallard at The Mainland Inn.

Last night was the second time we dined here. The first time was on a Tuesday and we had a lovely, refined experience except for my salmon being slightly overdone. Last night (a Wednesday) we went for our anniversary expecting a quite romantic evening, instead we got a very loud, very average evening. This time I ordered the trout and it was also slightly overdone and very salty. However the green beans were perfectly cooked through as requested and the roasted potatoes were great. But due to the noise we couldn’t wait to get out of there. It was so loud we couldn’t hear our waitress. Our main issue was such a mismatch of expectations.

Loved this place! The drinks, the food, the service- they were outstanding. Had a drink in the bar first then dinner in the dining room. Can’t wait to go back again!

The food was amazing! They were able to recommend wine/cocktail pairings with each course. We tried the escargot, calamari, and oysters for appetizers. The main courses were picanha, duck, and lamb chops, all were delicious. For dessert we had cheesecake with caramel, chocolate cremeux, and creme brulee, each one was just decadent as the other. Mallard is the epitome of fine dining. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First visit and was fantastic! We decided to sit in the bar area downstairs and loved the atmosphere. Will try the patio next visit. Peggy was wonderful last night and I was thrilled to see her here after knowing her at other restaurants for many years. We enjoyed everything; frisée salad, onion soup, Cobb salad, and my bacon jam burger. Look forward to returning.
