Malibu Beach Grill is an award-winning restaurant located in Port Orange, Florida specializing in hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood. The menu is made from scratch daily. The dining room offers a polished yet casual dining experience, with a huge outdoor patio. The restaurant has won many local awards including best restaurant, best atmosphere, and best dinner restaurant.

The dinner menu features weekly specials, early dining menu before 6pm and a gluten-free menu. Lunch is available daily. The menu also includes chicken dishes, fresh pastas, sandwiches and salads. Entree options include filet mignon, baby back ribs, pork chop and surf & turf. Fresh fish choices include mahi mahi, grouper, salmon, tilapia, and more. Full bar available with rare whisky and bourbon options, plus hand-crafted cocktails, a vast wine selection and craft beer. Kids and families welcome.

We had outdoor seating. It was a gorgeous day. We enjoyed our meal and would do it again.

Special Thanksgiving menu was a miss… Food arrived cold, and no one offered to clean the water that has spilled on the table and made a large portion of the table unusable

I appreciate the feed back. It's the same Thanksgiving menu that we've done for 6 years. Many guests love it and it makes the dining experience easier on everyone. This was my first time hosting Thanksgiving on my own and I know I have a lot to learn. I don't take comments like this lightly and have been taking expensive notes about everything that went on so I perfect the holiday for everyone for years to come. I appreciate the feed back. Please don't let one not so great experience with us out of all the good ones you've had turn you away from us in the future. This was my first time hosting Thanksgiving on my own let alone hosting for over 600 guests. I see we have quite a few things to work on to better us for next year. It's our biggest day of the year. We were vacationing in Daytona Beach Shores and celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We wanted to try a different restaurant that had steaks instead of going to the usual Texas Roadhouse, Outback, etc... Malibu Grill had a decent rating so thought we would try it. They stuck us in the back of the restaurant by where they stack extra chairs even though they knew this was a special occasion for us. The waitress was friendly. We started with the spinach/artichoke dip. It came pretty quickly. However, while eating I had to remove a piece of hard plastic from my mouth. We told our waitress about it. We proceeded to order our dinners. We were celebrating so we both ordered Filet Mignon (which we hardly ever do) baked potato, creamed spinach with one dinner and sautéed spinach on the other. The waitress returned and said they only had one baked potato left. So my husband took a different side. Then the waitress returned and said another waitress had stolen the baked potato for another couple. She said it would be about 40 minutes for another. I was ready to pay for what we had eaten and leave. She hurriedly got a manager. He was not as friendly. I showed him the piece of plastic and he said yeah, that's plastic but don't know how that would have gotten in there, as we make it fresh?! Okay. but it was in there. Yes, my husband hates to see anything wasted so he ate the rest of the dip. Manager made a comment about that. We were not asking for anything, just wanted to let them know about it. He said he would take that off our bill. He said they would try to hurry up the potatoes. My husband said how do you run out of baked potatoes at dinner time? The manager said everybody wants baked potatoes today. We decided to stay. They brought the steaks out with the spinach sides and then half way through I got a baked potato. It just was not the dinner or night I wanted for our anniversary, sadly. Next time go to a steak restaurant!

Celebrating 50 years together is special, and we regret that the seating, plastic in the dip, and delays with the baked potato took away from that. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially on such an important occasion. While we’re glad the manager addressed the issue with the dip, we know it wasn’t the evening you had hoped for.
