    We had an excellent brunch on the water! They have watermelon juice and it's great alone or in a mimosa. The service and food was outstanding. Loved the eggs benedict!

    After a full day at Pool and Beach we were undecided on what to do for Dinner. Then remembered Sean from Westin Concierge recommended MALA giving us a coupon for free Ube Bread. Made a quick reservation on Open Table and we were on our way. The experience didn’t disappoint! We had the just made Ube Bread which was hot, sweet, and delicious. Keeping to the theme I also ordered the Ube Drink being on a Tropical Island. The food was delicious and came out right on time. Our Server Kendall was awesome as she was very attentive. Even as a 7 year veteran server she was so enthusiastic with service and even gave us history of the restaurant and 100+ year old building. Letting us also know how the Surf affects their service when the Tides are really high. As frequent Visitors to Maui patronizing the Local Establishments are priorities to us as it gives us lifelong experiences as well as assisting the Community. #LahainaStrong!

    Unfortunately ordered whole deep fried opakapaka. Not a good preparation for a delicious fish. Other dishes were all good.

    Ube hot bread was delicious as was the steak and potatoes. The drinks were great. The ambiance lively. Perfect for sitting and watching the sunset.

    This was an absolutely amazing experience for my husband’s birthday dinner. As always, Mala did not disappoint. The hostesses were very kind and cordial and came back to wish my hubs a happy birthday again, later on. Lucas, our waiter, was sweet and very authentic. Our meals - the seated ahi - were prepared to perfection. Oh, we had the ahi bruschetta, which is a must try. Thank you, Mala. Until we meet again.

    Our meal was fantastic. The service was excellent and the sunset view was amazing. Highly recommend this local establishment when on Maui.

    Our waitress, China, was fantastic. Attentive, yet didn’t feel like she was hovering. The GM was pleasant…welcomed and seated us immediately. And the food and ambiance are second to none. We will be back soon.
