Taqueria Mal Pan is a modern Mexican experience. Our chef-driven menu is a combination of both the modern and classic Mexican kitchen. You’ll experience a menu with inspiration from Baja to Yucatan and everywhere in between. In step with the theme of our kitchen, the beverage program at Mal Pan is also inspired by the old and the new. Our back bar is filled with a curated list of artisan spirits from the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond. All of our craft cocktails are concocted with housemade syrups, fresh squeezed juices, shrubs, bitters and instagram worthy garnishes

The queso fundido with chorizo is a must have. Comes hot with chips and fresh guacamole. I ordered the carne asada plate, it was well seasoned and was cooked perfectly. Would definitely get again

Brunch never disappoints. Chilaquiles are incredible, the blue corn pancakes are killer as well. Cadillac Margarita is made right, with fresh ingredients with no pre-made garbage.

The cochinita pibil is fantastic. I the music was too loud to chat. I love they have aguas frescas (fresh fruit blend drinks)

Food was overpriced wasn’t great. It was edible but nothing to make me rave over it or want to come back again. In my opinion, it’s very below average for Americanized Mexican food. The ambiance was the best thing about the experience. I would not go back for the food. Maybe drinks, although I didn’t try the drinks so I can’t speak on the quality.

Our first time there and it was amazing! The food was outstanding, and Amber, our server was amazing! She was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond for us helping us get a good group pic. Thank you Amber!

Server was extremely rude and she double charged us. Won’t be going back there after spending $300.

Always great to go. Service is arguably the friendliest in charlotte. Great culture there. Every time we’ve gone, the food is good and the servers could not be any nicer. Great kids there.

Always the best! Food and service are top notch! The best in Charlotte. Large portions and everything is always delicious. Great cocktails as well
