Our menu features a selection of high quality sushi, appetizers, small plates and entrees with a Filipino flare.

Owner and Executive Chef R.J. Apozaga has spent the last 20 years perfecting his skills behind the sushi bar.
R.J. and wife Dana opened MaKi (named after their children while also meaning sushi roll in Japanese) in May of 2018.

With two floors of dining space, MaKi is perfect for large groups or a romantic evening at one of our desirable two top tables overlooking Main Street.

Join us to see why we have consistently been voted Best Sushi, along with Best Asian and Best Seafood in Anderson. MaKi Sushi Bar & Bistro makes dining a special experience.

The sushi is always fresh. We ordered the tiger roll, lucky charm and Clemson rolls. All delicious! Our server was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the rolls. And the Sushi Chefs are second to none! They know their business! The rolls are pricey, but you do get fresh, quality seafood that’s presented beautifully and well worth it.

First off the service east first class. We had numerous rolls,ramen soup entrees,salmon meal,teriyaki chicken meal.Large portions and delicious.

Our experience at Maki was great!! The service was on point and our waiter,Josh, was very courteous and professional. The food was out of this world great!! We can't wait to visit again.

This was our second time dining at Maki and it won’t be our last. Outside of the main dining area being on the noisy side, the food and service make it more than worth it. Our server Kendra was phenomenal!

Me and my boyfriend went out for prom night and it was really amazing! The food tasted delicious and the atmosphere was so authentic and welcoming. It was really busy but we got our food in a timely manner. Would eat here again 10/10!

Our server was great; very attentive. Would have given 5 stars but the Clemson roll didn’t seem as fresh as usual. But still good. Also, would be nice if there was a better selection of deserts besides cheesecakes.

It's one of our favorite places in Anderson. We here weekly just for the great food and service. You will not find sushi as great as there's anywhere around. Jay is amazing. Always delivering top notch service and with an upbeat personality. To say we're obsessed is an understatement
