Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

    It’s an overrated restaurant. I went to celebrate my Birthday, requested a table 3 months before, when i made the reservation and when i got there at 5:15 they said there was no tables available close to a window for us. Food was ok, nothing extremely good, and expensive. I wouldn’t go there again. Disappointed.

    Showed up for reservation requested a window seat, when I arrived they told me they were just clearing a window table and it would be a 5 min wait, finally after 15 mins they escort me to my table which was in the middle of the restaurant no where near a window. Then the hostess said soon as a table was open they’d move me after ordering some drinks and waiting three tables became open and I wasn’t relocated. They proceeded to seat new guests there instead. Definitely not the greatest experience or professionalism of the staff

    3rd time here and I would always recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a nice view, great food, and awesome service. Cheese toast and steak tartare are a must appetizer when visiting and have never failed to live up to the hype. I ordered the butcher's cut which was only a 14oz prime rib and cooked to medium rare. However, it was mad rare. Nearly blue tbh. The steaks (including the Japanese Wagyu) I've had in the past were cooked perfectly but I think the kitchen was slammed bc it was valentine's day so I think that's the reason why it wasn't cooked to the way I liked it to be.

    Went out on a Valentine’s date with my boyfriend. We’ve been a few times already with our friends but this was the first time we went just us. Food was great, staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was good, and the view was great. The vibes were immaculate

    I had the pleasure of enjoying a Valentine’s dinner at Major Tom, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for the evening. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right without being intrusive. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience, and their genuine hospitality made the night even more special. As for the food, every dish was a delight! From the beautifully presented appetizers Oysters etc….to the perfectly cooked main courses and the decadent dessert, each bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chef truly outdid themselves, and we could taste the quality in every dish. Because of the exceptional service and fantastic dining experience, we were more than happy to leave a generous tip. It was well deserved, and we will definitely be returning for another memorable evening. Highly recommend Major Tom for anyone looking for great food and top-notch service!

    First our servers were great, very kind and respectful. The food came out on time The cheeese toast was super hard but had a nice taste The spaghettiwas well cooked but so bland The burger was nice but again just bland very well cooked The issue is that I’ve come here before and really enjoyed the meal And the worst part is that both me and my date are have stomach issues then next day
