Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

We had a lovely dinner, the views are amazing!! Our Server was very pleasant and the food was fantastic! We had the Steak Frits and my husband had the NY Strip, which he said was great! Also a dozen, very fresh Oysters!! Highly recommended!

Our server Tash ( the red head from Australia) was absolutely amazing. I’ve been to Major Tom before and this by far was the best experience. Thank you for a great evening.

Fantastic night! Window table, so beautiful view. Appetizers and Entrees were very good. Had the chicken wings, cheese toast, Cavatelli, Ceasar salad, steak frites and chicken. All very good!! They need to bring back the carrot cake for dessert though!

Best experience I’ve had at Major Tom’s. The food and service was amazing. Best Apple Carmel dessert ever! The view was stunning as the sun set!

A great dinner experience. From the mocktails and cocktails to the appetizers and mains, everything was delicious. Service was impeccable- well timed between courses too. I was particularly impressed that there was a nonalcoholic wine option as we had a pregnant mama and a guest who is a teetotaler. Well done! Already planning our next visit.

From arrival to departure the service was flawless… genuinely friendly and helpful (got us a window seat for my wife’s birthday) … food was awesome and original, and timing was good all around.

Well for the most part food was good except the burger was raw. I actually was able to form it into a meat ball. Rare is ok but this was more like tartar. They did take the food off the bill.

Service was slow, server was never around. We continually had to track him down and take the initiative for ordering drinks, appetizers, mains etc. he never came around to check on me and my guest. This is twice now I’ve had the same server with the same poor customer service. I had to track him down even when it came time for paying the bill.

Waldorf salad was excellent. So was the crab cake. Duck was very good but too much duck (12 slices) and not enough veggies. Also it would be better with a sauce. Maybe there was one but it was insufficient. Baked Alaska for desert was very good. Glasses of wine are over priced. Great ambiance. We'll go back.
