Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

Second time visiting. Glad they were able to accommodate us for a window view for my dad's birthday. I think generally things are quite good with service ... However, out first server had a hard time communicating with us; and with our second server, my step mom had to ask twice each for a straw, an extra glass and ketchup for her fries. The view, ambience and food were all great - although my husband didn't care for his burger. My filet was excellent and the fries and ceasar salad were scrumptious as always.

The view and ambiance was wonderful for a birthday celebration. This was my fourth time there and have a few thoughts. in my cod entree. It was too salty and the Baked Alaskan is very sweet. Everything else was spot on delicious.

We loved the window seat! There was a great selection of both cocktails & mocktails which we appreciated! We each ordered a main and decided to share some sides - everything was so flavourful and well portioned. It was an exceptional evening!

It was quite loud, and some things feel quite over priced, like the potato doughnuts.

I preferred to send a direct message to Major Tom, but in a nut shell, technically they need to change something to promote their level and satisfy the customer.

We went for my 18th birthday and I got a very sweet card signed by everyone working. Our waiter was amazing and took the time to know us personally and checked in many times. The view and mood of the restaurant was amazing and I will be coming back

Major Tom’s is majorly amazing. Terrific night out in Calgary. The ambience, service and food cannot be beat. Our main server, Sergii, was truly wonderful along with the various assistants - Major Tom,s is special

We have not been for two years. The setting still is mind boggling ! We had an amazing server who went well beyond ordinary service to attend to us. For example, she scrubbed the table extra hard to remove a food spot where 99% of most servers would brush it off. The food selection was better than I remember. The duck breast, beet salad and sweet potatoe were amazing. I can't not recommend this restaurant enough for formal dining in Calgary. It is my go to spot!

This is one of the best restaurants in Calgary. The food is outstanding, and the view from the 40th floor of the Scotia Centre is breathtaking. The wine selection also deserves praise. My only qualm has to do with the noise level, the music was too loud and made conversation difficult.
