The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

We don’t want this review to put people off from booking. Nothing off putting happened to us it was just our personal view. The view was incredible. The bar restaurant is beautiful but we found it to be pretentious. The view aside there are much better bars ( and better value) in Calgary. We fell for the hype and overall were underwhelmed. I see why people think it’s fab but if you want a view go up the Tower and get your cocktails on 17th. Cleaver bar is exceptional. We were visiting Calgary for 1 day before moving onto Banff. We are from Oxfordshire UK and see a lot of bars like Major Toms and we were looking for something different so were disappointed to find there was nothing that made it stand out.

The dining experience at Major Tom Calgary was truly exceptional, with food that rivals any Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff was highly professional and incredibly helpful, making the visit even more memorable. Hats off to the management team for their outstanding efforts. Keep up the fantastic work, Team Major Tom! Wishing you all continued success and a remarkable New Year ahead!

Our waiter was exceptional. Food was fantastic and overall experience was great. One thing that is important ti keep in mind is that all sides on steaks are purchased separately from the steak itself. This results in a much higher overall bill. This shouldn’t be a deterrent as the experience was great but should be known knowledge. Overall very pleased with my time.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary here. The food was great, the cocktails were amazing, and we enjoyed the atmosphere! We will definitely be back.

Appetizers were solid. Main’s legit yet not blow your socks off great for the price points. The deserts mediocre at best. Some type of parfait which was bland and major league uneventful and some other chocolate malt desert which lacked enough ice cream to cut all the chocolate malt stuff which just dried the ones’s palate. Cocktails took a long time to get to the table which surprised me. Wine prices stupid expensive which I fail to understand; just disappointing on that front! Menu needs a total refresh and needs to be upgraded to demand the price points they’re asking. Guess they think their establishment is “she she” or something. $61 for a duck breast, really? The management team needs to do some world travelling to gauge their product against what’s out there and what’s awesome against, what’s not. With all that said, the restaurant concept is fine, just in need of a refresh on the menu and a price adjustment that better aligns with the average persons pocket book. Or, maybe that’s not justified??

I have been at this restaurant many times. The food is always excellent. And the views are amazing. I only wish they have better and more non alcoholic drinks choices like lemonade, apple juice and other basic drinks. Specially for people that don’t drink alcohol or non-alcoholic bar drinks.
