We're pretty proud of having opened in the heat of the pandemic and still being here to tell you our story. Maison T came alive through the combined efforts of husband-and-wife team Masayuki Tamaru and Carolina Avaria. He is a celebrated French Chef, originally from Japan. She is a globally celebrated Hotel Chef Concierge originally from Chile. Food is his passion, Service is hers. Our kitchen and front of house teams will ensure you have a beautiful night, with friendly service, wonderful wines and of course extraordinary French fare. Check out our pooch-friendly patio in the summer months. We look forward to serving you.

Fabulous Bistro with excellent food. I have had almost everything on the menu and am always delighted. The mushroom appetizer is a favourite and the chicken bites are gorgeous. Steak frites are always perfect but my go to is the duck confit. Last night it was the Arctic char. Traditional French bistro fare with a slight Japanese nuance. A special place with fair and reasonable prices for top notch dining. The service is always attentive and efficient and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Was recommended to try Maison T by another local business owner. Definitely a great suggestion. We've been looking for a cozy go-to bistro in our area and are happy to say that Maison T fits this to a "T" ;) Great menu with a surprising twist as the co-owner is Japanese. So now I can get my favourite French and Japanese dishes in one place.

Service: The service was outstanding! From the person that seated us, the waiter and the owners! Everyone made us feel welcome! The Ambiance: The noise level would have been great normally I think. But, there were a few large tables of college students that were talking extremely loud. So loud that I could hardly hear the person I was with talking. The noise level is not the fault of the restaurant, so I wouldn't hold that against them. The Food: She had the Duck Confit, which she said is one of the best she has ever had. Crispy on the outside, yet succulent and juicy on the inside. I had the classic Steak and Frites, which was absolutely perfect! We would recommend and we will visit again next time we are in Toronto.

We had a lovely meal , dined outside on the terrace, which is a nicer space. Service was a bit slow as they were quite busy. Our drinks took over 20 minutes. The remainder of the meal was fine. We usually share everything, but the portions were more on the small side. The mussels were yummy, but definitely a single portion size. The scallops and steak frites were perfect! We will be back for sure!

A really wonderful neighbourhood bistro. A small focussed menu, which is always a good sign. Everything feels very personally crafted. Very friendly service. My pork chop was delicious. My wife had the mussels which she loved. Definitely going back.

MaisonT is always a wonderful dining experience. The Monkfish in beurre blanc and the Makeral in red wine sauce were superb. As always we had the mushroom appetizer which never disappoints. Thank you Carolina and Chris for an excellent dinner.
