We're pretty proud of having opened in the heat of the pandemic and still being here to tell you our story. Maison T came alive through the combined efforts of husband-and-wife team Masayuki Tamaru and Carolina Avaria. He is a celebrated French Chef, originally from Japan. She is a globally celebrated Hotel Chef Concierge originally from Chile. Food is his passion, Service is hers. Our kitchen and front of house teams will ensure you have a beautiful night, with friendly service, wonderful wines and of course extraordinary French fare. Check out our pooch-friendly patio in the summer months. We look forward to serving you.

Chef Tamaru presents another wonderful evening with our New Year's Eve Five Course Tasting Menu with optional Wine Pairings. For reservations please call 647-296-2216. Salade de Fruits de Mer (Tuna, King Salmon, Scallops, Mixed Japanese Greens, Yuzu Vinaigrette) Seabream (Herb Sauce) Foie Gras (Squash Risotto, Port Glaze) Choice of Beef Tenderloin with Madeira Sauce or Rack of Lamb with Garlic Sauce. Dessert: Sesame Blanc-Manger, Apple Pie, Layered Chocolate and Chestnut Mousse. $135/guest with optional $75/guest wine pairing. Two seatings: 6:00pm and 9:30pm. Absolutely impeccable food and service👌 I sure hope this will be included as a Michelan Star restaurant in Toronto, because it meets all standards to be gold star dining! Will be recommending to all family, friends and acquaintances! A Toronto hidden gem!!!

This restaurant was at the top of my list of places to go. Had read about the unassuming neighborhood gem with an acclaimed chef…..French trained, Japanese, all around perfectionist. Upon arrival I instantly recognized that this place was a regular for many in the area and not a pretentious space catered to the instagram influenced. Rightfully so, it did not boast a special decor or furnishings. Modest holiday decor, and one can’t argue, terrible art. Definitely not aimed to impress on a superficial level. The wait staff was courteous and continued a very high touch service, constantly checking on the welfare of our table. The food was served promptly and as promised, lived up to my expectations BUT my guest and I felt rushed as we were reminded multiple times that we had a two hour window to eat. The restaurant clearly can turnover two seatings a night. And it’s fully booked for both seatings. I just wish I could have enjoyed my time there in a more relaxed way. I’m not sure I’ll be back, but can understand how well loved a place like T can be. Most people were up and out quickly. Some even booked their next meal with the host who is the chefs wife. They won’t miss my business and that’s a good thing.

We had a fantastic dinner sitting at the bar last night. We shared the endive salad, the mushrooms tempura and then I had the mussels and my other half had the steak tartare with frites. The food and service were all perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Not a false note in the food's taste nor in its presentation. The service anticipated your needs and carried it out efficiently with the right amount of cordial interaction. It is the second time there. We anticipate further. From both visits with friends and family, twelve different dishes have been consumed, including appetizers and deserts. Well done!

Just amazing! The food is amazing and Carolina runs a tight ship but with total grace. It was an absolute pleasure.

A little gem with absolutely top notch food! It’s a bit out of the way for us but definitely worth the drive and we are going to make it happen much more often. Delicious and delightful!

Cozy restaurant, family run with amazing French cuisine with a Japanese twist. Such a wonderful dining experience. We didn’t feel rushed and the staff make the extra effort to make you feel welcome.
