    What a GEM! Food is amazing and the service is perfection. There is an upscale chill vibe that makes it easy to enjoy the fabulous food!

    Was missing something on the dishes. Felt like it was precooked! Octopus was tasting burned, over grilled, but very tender, bland flavors.

    Hubby went for dinner. Ordered from HRW menu. Bret salad and salmon gravitas were great, as was the trout almondine (a dish we love). Decided to try the duck pastry dish. Loaded with duck meat wit nice flambé presentation. The meat, however, was dry. It would have been better if the gravy was left in a small dish for dipping instead of being poured on the pastry. It made the pastry soggy and didn’t give any help to the meat filling. Desserts (crepe and floating island) were great. Great service! Overall, a pleasant evening out.

    We visited for the first time during brunch during Houston Restaurant Week so price was a great deal. Normal menu prices high for us. Food presentation and taste was outstanding! Service was great! Really enjoyed the beet/goat cheese salad, pork and grits, and orange crepes. Rich, filling food and marvelous experience!

    Whalen (sp) was exceptional for our business lunch. Beautiful restaurant for all occasions, especially dinner and brunch!

    Great food and service (by Israel) during our restaurant week visit. We will return. Only negative is that wine offerings are way overpriced. Management should address that as it’s a turn off for most diners.
