The little French bistro you always wished was just around the corner is here. Maison Bleue is the brainchild of Sandy and John Vizzone, owners of The Hugh B&B, along with partner Executive Chef Anthony Depasquale.

Together, they have created a stylish—and delicious—interpretation of a classic French bistro. Like The Hugh, Maison Bleue is a perfect concoction of flair, verve, and intimacy.

Top notch Cape May culinary experience. On par with other long time notables. Cuisine was inventive with excellent execution. The foie gras app and the escargot pastry were amazing. Halibut and Scallops entree were great. Beautiful side porch dinning with engaging soundtrack playing. Good stuff.

We loved it! This was our first experience at MB they moved into their new space. We dined on the covered porch and enjoyed the fall air. The ambience was gorgeous - comfortable and romantic without falling into kitch or cloying. Service was friendly and professional. The food was fresh. Menu was perfect - varied without trying to do too much. Highly recommend this place!

On our last evening in Cape May we wanted to return to the restaurant after a wonderful experience the year before. The year before the restaurant was located in a out of the way location behind the Washington Mall. And the restaurant did not offer at time wine which you were encouraged to visit the liquor store next door. Now located in the Hughs House on Washington Street what a better selected location to walk to . Also they offer selections of bottles of Wine to drink. We were greeted at the door informing we had a reservation which is encouraged. The hostess lead us to our table in one of the various rooms in the dining room. We were greeted by our server Jeremy who asked for our drink order and also informed us of the specials of the evening. We selected for our starts Baked Local Oysters w Caviar and also Endive and Watercress Salad. Both were excellent and enjoyed especially the Baked Oyster a great experience. For our main selections Local day boat scallops and wife selected the Filet of Salmon both excellent. Of course during the meal we were being watched by Jeremy for whatever needs we wished to have. Our selection for dessert were Crème brûlée and Seasonal tart our hot drinks. It was a delightful meal and experience which we will definitely return next time. Also the food was exceptionally prepared and very tasty. Please do make a reservation to assure a pleasant table to be seated at. We encourage all to give it a try.

The restaurant is so pretty, the food is outstanding but for some reason there was a long time bw getting the apps and eating dinner, altho that was not the case the time prior, will definitely go back

Restaurant was great the only disappointing thing was the bread. I look forward to a crusty fresh French bread when I go to French restaurant. Otherwise a 5 star experience
