Main Street Bistro and Bakery combines French elegance with a casual dining experience in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Our dinner service boasts some of our favorite French dishes like Mussels and Duck Confit and American classics like Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Enhance your dining experience with a signature cocktail or a glass of Bordeaux. And don’t forget to try one of our famous desserts, handcrafted daily by our Executive French Pastry Chef!

We serve Weekend Brunch Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Brunch is available for walk-ins and waitlist only; no reservations for Weekend Brunch.

Someone sat at our reserved table outside and it took the staff 15 minutes to figure out that they needed to tell the people that they couldn’t just sit down on their own and stay at a table that they hadn’t reserved. Our server was very slow and forgetful on numerous things and we had to ask another server to bring us silverware after 5 minutes of having food but no silverware.

This is my favourite place to,go. The lobster grilled cheese and lobster bisque are what I usually order. They stuff that sandwich with tons of lobster. I tear the crust off and dip it into my bisque….paradise! So, good. Afterwards, I go grab some French tarts and other sweets from the French bakery. They’re as close to Paris deserts I’ve ever had. My husband and I try to go at least twice a month. No reservations are taken on Saturday nights. But, it’s well worth the wait and fun stuff to do in Grapevine till your table is called.

Appetizers, soup and meal were all delicious I topped it off with a strawberry crepe and Irish coffee. Dania was such a great waitress

This was our first visit for dinner as we usually only go here for brunch. The food was outstanding! The cocktails were fair to good, but the service was borderline poor. I had to go find our waitress a couple of times which is kind of rare for a smaller restaurant. They were busy, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I did love the fact that they had live music as it was a Saturday night. The ambience, as always, was fantastic and made for a lovely date night with my wife. The wait staff is usually excellent at brunch, so I am thinking/hoping this was a one off event. We will definitely be back for the food.

My wife and I took our best friends to Chez Fabien in Grapevine to celebrate a birthday. Hudson greeted us at the door and courteously escorted us to our booth. Our server, Eric, was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience was lovely old European cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious -- highly recommend the Truffle Parmesan Fries, the Short Ribs Beef Bourguignon, and the Fire & Ice cocktail (if you like spicy!). The birthday surprise was a scrumptious chocolate dessert ... believe it was the Bread Pudding: dark chocolate ganache, with creme brulee filling, and whipped cream -- Yum! -- with an inserted fiery Roman candle-like sparkler lighting up the table! Between the small venue, the lively din of conversation in the room -- on a Thursday night, yet! -- and the live singer/guitarist, it was a bit difficult to hear at the table, but that's small potatoes for everything else being so superb! We highly recommend Chez Fabien!

Great food & service! A bit pricey, but acceptable. Super loud, which has always been the case. Old building, brick interiors, just goes with the territory!
